Stopped playing about 8 months to a year into NA release. My gear is now trash and apparently, there are 5 more levels? I have no idea what to do, or where to go. I'm a cat dude, so yeah. Can someone tell me where I should be going and what to do to get to 55? Once I do that it should be pretty easy to figure out where to grind gear. Thanks for any info you can give. Posted: 20 Apr 2019 04:04 AM PDT I've heard the game is now in a better state like a lot of other returning players and have downloaded it. When I played then it felt like there was plenty of content but over the years my tastes have changed a little bit, and I'm having a hard time recalling what all there was to do besides massive trade pack runs with your guild, GHA, The War, Halsa farming (It was BiS) and some random pvp during pretty much all of the other content. I'd just like a brief overview of what type of content I can expect to return to. Is there a collection journal or completion log like in eso or wow where I can earn titles I think there was when I played but I can't recall? How many end game dungeons can I expect to wipe in with my friends? Is 1v1 arena relevant and active? Is there any new cool content that is out that I wouldn't expect to see? The last time I logged was the second day of the release of the 3rd continent if that helps. Very excited to see you boys in game! [link] [comments]  | ||

I have an account on aranzeb that has high grade eupherium gear, but hasn't been touched in 4 years. My other account was from last year during fresh start, but I stopped playing after a couple months, I have maybe arcane grade hiram gear? Both accounts are level 50. | Returning player question about top tier gear Posted: 20 Apr 2019 07:14 AM PDT Things have changed since I played back in 2016. In terms of top tier gear, is erenor gear or Hiram gear better? Currently in fresh start server so the best crafted gear is Ayanad, but by the time I get to that tier (as a non p2w but likes grinding patron) I'm assuming I'll be able to get erenor. Posted: 20 Apr 2019 05:26 AM PDT i played this game 2 years ago above 100fps in very high, now i back on the game and i have 40fps in Austera with the same CPU and a better GPU, is there any tweak for this? is the performance worse? i have win10 clean install, reinstalled archeage, tryed dx9 and dx11(runs better in dx11) multithread on/off if i drop the settings the performance is better ofc but its not a solution... | Abolisher or Cleric for High Ping (~230)? Posted: 19 Apr 2019 09:20 PM PDT Returning player, used to play daggerspell, looking at using the Hiram gear crate drop to gear into either Abolisher or Cleric (or if someone can suggest to me a different/better tank/support Id like to hear it). From what information I've gathered dual class weapons like the Short Spear arent a thing anymore, so I'd have to spec specifically down one tree, and healers are viable for solo these days. I'd likely be mostly solo and would like to go tanky to offset ping delays as best I can, while being aware I'm never going to be top tier in PvP. Any suggestions? So far it feels like a single player game, I just got to Haranya and still haven't seen a single person outside of cities - let alone owpvp. I know it's the starting area but when can I expect to see some pvp or challenging content (not visit npc > do kill quest > turn in > repeat)? Are those just for endgame? I'm on Aria. From what I gather, Ebonsong is pretty good, but is that pretty much it? I'm already making a blade dancer so I would like something that doesn't rely on songcraft, as that seems to be the must-have class for like, everything right now lol. Same deal for mage; I want to be able to comfortably go through PvE mostly solo and without songcraft, ideally. Something fun and maybe unique. [link] [comments]  | ||

I'd like to go to a server where there is actual contesting going on for content, not just a steamroll server where one or two player nations are fighting over castles.
