Archeage Unchained loading extremely slowly Posted: 04 Jul 2021 08:47 AM PDT Hi, I came back to the game after 3 years a few days ago. And while I enjoy it so far, this is annoying me. When I am ingame, the game works fine. Loading screens between portals are a little slow but otherwise it is fine. However, on initial boot the game takes FOREVER to load. Sometimes I am stuck on the splash screen for 10 minutes straight. This wasn't an issue when I played back then (even though it never was the quickest game). AA is installed on a SSD and my setup runs games like BDO without any issue. Does anyone have similar issues? Is there any fix? Things I tried so far: - Run as admin - Add exception to windows defender/other security programs - Delete/Rename document folder - Compatibility mode - Updated drivers/direct x This is really taking away from the fun, especially when it crashes mid raid.
