| ORCA guild Wynn East Two players exploiting Posted: 03 Dec 2019 08:20 AM PST First player flags purple to do the majority of damage, and then stops attacking so that they dont get kill crime points. (Attitude) Second player uses malediction exploit to finish/kill green player without flagging or taking any crime points. (Chunkus) Mad I was farming in the same area as them. Reedwind during war with buff pots on. Ticket filed/video linked. You need Labor/Time to make Gold. You need Time to get Infusions and Labor. You need Labor and Gold to use Infusions. A lot of these rely on each other, equating to way too much different activities that you have to dedicate your game time to. Making dailies weekly would fix this shit. I've spent a lot of time grinding gold to upgrade my gear, and now that I have the Gold I'm gated by Labor (without using rechargers) and when I do have both I'm still gated by the number of infusions I have... The way it is right now forces you to stick to a strict daily schedule of 1/3 gold making, 1/3 dailies , 1/3 labor you get each day to progress your gear. I'm not even gonna touch on the honor issue. Let us have the freedom of how to spend our time and give us back the real sandbox archeage. /rant [link] [comments]  | ||

| What's up with the small scale pvp? Posted: 03 Dec 2019 11:31 AM PST I live for small scale pvp. It's all I enjoyed in legacy and it's what I came back to do. I felt in legacy the small scale fights (ie. 5-8ppl per side) were more skill intensive. Individual skill mattered, shot calling could make or break fights, the ability to change strategy on the fly could turn fights. All in all it was more enjoyable and was a much better experience than 80 people running into 80 people spamming aoe and letting average gear score decide the outcome. But what in the actual fuck happened to it? I can't find decent small scale pvp to save my life. Teams of people are literally stealthing, shadowsmite 1 shotting you, then running the fuck away before your party can even engage them. They refuse to fight, they wait for you to be balls deep in mobs before they show themselves. When you do wait for them to engage they hide and refuse until they know its a free kill. If you do manage to turn on them they disengage and run to the nui themselves. They camp you at the shrine but as soon as you call friends to make it an even 5v5 they tuck tail and run. Every now and then you find a small group that is down to skirmish a couple times before they run off never to be seen again. If you do manage to kill a group trying to gank you they either never come back for a rematch or they call 15 friends to make sure you have no chance. What's awesome is those same people that 1shot shadowsmite then run and hide act like their 2500 pvp kills are legit and talk a big game but refuse to actually fight when the playing field is even. Why is nobody looking for quality fights but instead just looking for easy kills? Raid versus raid sucks ass and if small scale doesn't start occurring more regularly the pvp community is gonna get bored real quick. [link] [comments]  | ||

You can easily triple your oats collected per battle with this tip. | Posted: 03 Dec 2019 06:40 AM PST As someone who'd play casually/semi-hardcore, how big of a disadvantage would full rerolling atm be. Currently a med-gs (4.9k) melee is making me feel really sluggish and I somewhat useless in rvr and general pvp scenarios getting slammed by higher geared players. I was thinking of running a tank as it seems to be a more non-hardcore friendly option, but in the long term I'm not sure how viable this might be. All I find are mostly complaints about crystallization :D English isn't my mothertongue so I hope I'll be clear enough for you. I'll try to explain with an exemple. When I'm regrading hiram, let's say I've something like 10% sucess and 90% failure. Let it be, RNG's god aren't with us, we'll go to the 90% failure. Once we are there, what are the chance to have a crystallization and the chance to "nothing happened" (I've really no idea how to name it) ? Is it 50/50 ? Or 40% for the crystallization and 60% for the "nothing" ? 30/70 ?.. Thank you for your information and sorry if I'm not clear enough about this whole thing :< [link] [comments]  | ||

I'm trying to figure out what would be best for someone who likes doing events and messing around but is not into min/maxing or not worried about being competitive in PvP. I mostly play archer classes and usually have songcraft and some other skill with archery. Would it be best for me to invest in leather Hiram, cloth or plate? I understand they can be upgrading to offset their natural weakness but I don't really have the time or desire to max out my gear so what would be the best "all arounder" type for a dabble in everything playstyle? Leather seemed like the best idea since it has a good mix of defenses and suits archery but plate seems to go better in PvE? Thanks for any feedback! [link] [comments]  | ||
