Make your voice heard +1...+2...+3...This thread for 300 diligence coins per account

    Posted: 30 Oct 2019 04:04 AM PDT

Because the exploiters have voiced together against giving out diligence coins as they would like to keep their lead, I suggest it is our turn to do the same. Simply reply to this thread with the next number on replying.

Hopefully will get enough replys and attention they cannot ignore.

Brief explanation how this helps :So Fred has 27 labor recharges, and Jack has 1.Fred has 2600% more labor than Jack. Now each get 300 diligence and buy 60 labor recharges.Fred has 87,000 labor, and Jack has 61,000 labor. Now Fred only has 42% more labor than Jack.

    Some extra incentive : 27k gold : https://i.gyazo.com/5abc141bb93b3a60002e9f33ee9c7358.jpg

Important information why exploiters that are ahead dont stay as far ahead :
There's something that you cannot calculate : Labor/Gold makes gold.
So all those who have exploited and gone ahead, can make a financial set-up for their own economy plan.
Those who where not given 5k gold or what ever thousands of labor for free (or both), will take a lot more time to get that set-up going...During this time the exploiters get further and further ahead whilst the poor sit on their poor gold, thus increasing the gap.
Adding these coins, will simply push those ahead a little bit further than what they currently are, but for the poor, they will see their finances grow to the point they will close the gap more than get furthur behind.

I will start +1, the next person simply replys +2 and so on.

Easy fix! Start at the top of leaderboard, take a quick peek at its history, the BANHAMMER it.

    Posted: 30 Oct 2019 10:31 AM PDT

It's really NOT hard to see who exploited with leaderboard lmao.

FYI: There's an Exploit to Enable the Archepass

    Posted: 30 Oct 2019 10:12 AM PDT

When they "disabled" the Archepass so quickly, you had to know they did it in some kind of hack-job way. You can edit certain game files that allow you to use and level up the Archepass and gain rewards from it. They didn't "disable" it, they just hid it from people not smart enough to look into it further.

Edit: Explaining or "distributing" how it works is against the rules, so I'm not doing that. However, just know that in the likely event that EAC verifies checksums, I wouldn't be surprised if there were a banwave that hits the fools modifying .dll files.

    Current state of ArcheAge NA

    Posted: 30 Oct 2019 09:12 AM PDT

Well, this is what this game currently comes down to for majority of people I play with and that I know. I know a lot of people already giving up or getting ready to quit and I honestly can't blame them, but some of these issues could be resolved and I know the Gamigo team said they were working on them. I am just listing the issues in this thread, moving away from the people still talking about exploiting and diligence.

    Problems:

    1. The biggest offender is the queue. No one really minds the queue, everyone hates the fact that there's no grace period and are upset at being kicked out 2-3 times a day and having to sit in queue for hours after already sitting in it once. I know Gamigo is working on this, but it needs to be tested and implemented asap without anymore delay.
    2. DailyAge, this is game no longer as the same feel as it used to. We all know why we played archeage, it was that game you could come to and do whatever you wanted every day. Now it's you have to complete all of your dailies every single day or you're behind. This is extremely mundane especially for people who have jobs. They come home, sit in a reset raid for 2-3 hours and just do dailies and they might not even complete everything. After that if you want gilda you have to go do gilda dailies, etc. It's honestly just not fun anymore. Hiram was a catch up mechanic designed for legacy servers and never really was meant for an FS. It's mundane and boring.
    3. Instances, instances, instances. For the love of GOD PLEASE make sure this is a priority after grace period and FIX THE TIMES FOR IT THEY ARE EU NOT NA TIMES. We are dying without some extra pvp in our lives, the oceans are dead because everyone takes a safe boat across which is another dumb mechanic. Or people are busy just doing dailies. You rarely can find people on the seas anymore and it's hugely disappointing. We are also missing out the extra labor, infusions, and honor from halcy and MM.
    4. ArchePass. I know the team is working on this but, the solution to the archepass isn't changing the amount of quests you need to do per week from 100 to 60, please stop. We don't want to HAVE to do more dailies just to keep up. Think of a better redesign and hit us with that. I think majority of this playerbase can agree on that.
    5. Faction vs Faction. This game used to be special, where it was you vs the world or your group of friends vs the world. Now it's just heavily gearing towards faction vs faction politics and bs. Castles new mechanics look really fun, why did this have to be implemented as a faction castle instead of a guild castle? Why do heros now hold so much power over everything? Why is bloodlusting so bad now? This game was play how you want, and now it's just play as we tell you.
    6. Pirate, this honestly seems like a way out and away from everyone to make this game seem like what it once was, but why is there a 100 man cap? Also, why can only 10 people go pirate a week?
    7. World Bosses, a large part of endgame pvp was centered around WB content. Now the only content we have is Kraken and DGS....? Which is kind of worth to kill, let's be honest no one on this server is attempting BD/Levi for a long time. TWT was changed to a full PVE faction boss, which again was another stupid mistake. I have no idea the route that XL is trying to take with this game, but it's effectively killing what drew people into archeage as a game. Side note: DGS are disabled.

These are some of my concerns with the current state of AA and most of these can be fixed, some of these need approval from XL to rework systems. I hope other people have the same view as me and are also concerned by these things.

    Here are some potential solutions

    1. The team is already working on this, I hope you can get it implemented asap.
    2. Change the dailies into a weekly or something and just have it give more rewards, I'd rather spend 6 hours in 1 day finishing up daily quests I would have to do for a week rather than sitting in a reset raid for 3 hours every single night.
      1. GILDA AND PACKS : Please ADD GILDA TRADER AND GOLD TRADER BACK TO FREEDICH. You can keep the gilda dailies in if you want people to have a safe way of getting gilda, but why couldn't we have both? Also, adding the gold trader back to freed adds more content back to the game. More pvp, more ways to get risk for reward, etc. THIS WOULD BE FUN.
    3. I know you guys are working on this also, but please get it fixed asap after grace period. ALSO, MAKE KILLS COUNT FOR MORE THAN 10 HONOR PER KILL IN HALCYONA INSTANCE PLS.
    4. Archepass..... please Gamigo, NO MORE DAILY CHORES. STOP the bandaid fixes and just REWORK it completely. Make a rework that implements this system naturally through what we would do in game anyways.... Turning in a pack gives you X amount of exp, pvp kills give you X amount of exp, doing halcy, mm, cr, gr, whalesong, aegis, etc. give you x amount of exp. You guys can come up with something better than making me waste hereafters porting to different zones to kill seabugs and nuimari mobs.
    5. I know that the KR bloodlust system will be implemented next month, but I personally don't think that's good enough at all. Please let us play the game how we want, you guys already made it extremely casual friendly. Just give us back the feel of old Archeage.
      1. I know the castle and hero system will never change, so I am not going to bother commenting on it. (ITS BAD BTW)
    6. Remove the 100 man cap, remove the 10 man weekly flip cap. Make the gold cost of pirate going higher if you want to even out removing that cap. XL FINALLY made pirate a faction where you could potentially be faction vs faction vs faction, and have 3 way fights at things, but then they go and limit it? How does this make any sense?
    7. Honestly, it's just sad when you think about world boss content. When we were in 3.0 we had to worry about DGS, RD, Kraken, TWT, Anth, etc. all being PvP content. Anthalon is worthless now, TWT is a full PVE boss, RD was changed to an instanced boss replaced by BD, DGS are disabled. What do we have to look forward to in end-game now? It honestly seems like not much. RD and Anth pvp were so much fun and they always turned into RvR fights after whatever happened with the boss.
      1. Make new Anthalon loot and buff the boss / OR buff the boss and make a new tier of it like Kraken, rangora, RD, etc.
      2. Re-implement DGS when the time comes
      3. Re-work some of the older bosses Meina, Glen, etc. make them WORTH fighting over. Add something to them and change the spawn timers on them so they aren't up as often.

I'm sure other people have some really good ideas and I will edit the reddit post accordingly, I just want this game to feel like what we all expected it to, not what it is now. With a few changes it's completely possible without reworking every single system. I think the middle compromise is completely possible between XL and Gamigo.

Archepass was never disabled. Players have been editing game files to display it again in the UI.

    Get your popcorn ready folks.

This is even worse than the Original ArchePass exploit. New players will be turned away immediately now that word has gotten out.

Servers have been ruined because of this...what are you going to do Gamigo?

Give everyone 300 diligence coins. Remove labour rechargers from the diligence shop and add them as a login reward for Lv. 55+ characters.

    Posted: 30 Oct 2019 04:08 AM PDT

That'll allow people to freely spend their diligence on mounts/pets/hauler/inventory/gliders without feeling bad about falling behind, while also keeping everyone even regarding labour.

People with multiple accounts will still have an advantage, but hopefully the level requirement will soft-limit completely freshly bought alt-accounts from taking advantage of the labour influx.

EDIT: Just to be clear, the Lv. 55 thing was just the first idea that came to me. Could also be a sort of login system requiring 1 or 2 hours of playtime, so that it wouldn't affect legitimate fresh accounts, but still at least somewhat inconvenience/discourage getting the rewards on an alt.

I do not enjoy mandatory dailies. Do you?

    Posted: 30 Oct 2019 02:12 AM PDT

Hiram, Crimson Rift, Grimghast Rift, Hunting Requests, Blue Salt Gildas, Sea Trade, Family etc.

There are way too many dailies in this game. I know I am not supposed to do all of them, but I really want to amass some gilda. The problem is that it's not FUN. I want to do things on my own terms, with RISK and be rewarded for succeeding.

It used to be that doing risky things earned you great rewards, but now the game has taken a leaf out of ARCHAIC "how to build a casual themepark" book and made grinding dailies the main endgame. It used to be that running risky trade routes through the sea earned you gilda. It was harsh, it was competed but it was POSSIBLE and the game was focused on emergent gameplay where the economy was competitive and world PvP was based around piracy of trade packs and fishing boats.

Then add archepass on top of that. It doesn't matter what the rewards are for that, it's just more stupid grind on top of already super easy dull work for free OP rewards that you NEED to actually play the interesting parts of the game.

How come people are fine with this? Seriously.

There should be an exploit alert subreddit for archeage so that players can be alerted and get in on the "event" while it's on.

Seems like the only way to keep up. I'm sure there are a few kind souls out there that would share the info.

    Toxic Community ruins everything

    Posted: 30 Oct 2019 02:45 AM PDT

    Hey guys,

so i am usually the one who lurks and never posts anything.

But the time has finally come. Does anyone really enjoy this subreddit anymore?

EVERY SINGLE DAY is another shitstorm about some changes about the game.

If people would put their time into researching the game and posting stuff that helped them, the game and the mentality of every gamer would dramatically change.

This game offers sooo many things (to make money, progress and just have fun in general) and most of the people only focus on like 30% of the game.

But having the mindset of just seeing the possible exploits and falling behind of everyone will ruin this game (and already did to some point) .

    Why?

Because noone who actually enjoys the game will be able to share his joy, since everyone is focussed on bashing the game.

Whatever the developers do, people will ALWAYS have something to complain about.

To sum up the obvious and this got posted many times already, the exploits are definitely not the best thing that happened to the game.

    THOUGH:

    1. im asuming that at least 80%-90% of the players just dumped everything into their gear.
    2. only a super small minority actually got so far ahead for the average player
      1. worldboss gold is burned since 4-5k gearscore
        1. prove me wrong

2.1) THIS WOULD HAPPEN WITHOUT EXPLOITS TOO

2.1.1) why? Because knowledge and time is the most profitable factor in this game for a longer period.

    3) the labor of the second exploit seems to be certainly having big advantages to the players, the longer they delay the diligence coins distribution

3.1) STILL many players will not have the knowledge to actually be smart and go for a long term monopoly of things and dump everything into gear

3.2) again, the longer they delay diligence coins the more impact this will have for sure.

Most threads that are created to blame developers and the game are created by people who have 0% knowledge of the game and just see the people in the top ranks compared to themselves and cant accept the fact that there will always be people better geared than them.

Almost all of the ENDGAME stuff (Worldbosses etc) can still not be done yet (although it is starting) but the impact of the exploits is still a minor thing in here.

(1k-1.5k gearscore difference is actually not a lot in terms of pvp)

So PLEASE guys, calm the fuck down. This game is designed to last for fucking years (!) and even though the first few weeks were messy, you need to have faith for the long run, otherwise you will only discourage people to keep on playing by posting more negative and toxic threads.

Every change they will implement will have its positive and negative effects.

Maybe you should shift your attention to the positive ones and fking start enjoying the game to its fullest potential.

    Thanks.

Suggestiong for Gamigo: Start to completely ignore this subreddit

    Posted: 30 Oct 2019 02:30 AM PDT

This will probably be downvoted to hell and never make it but I'm still gonna try.

Gamigo if you do read this, please just start ignoring this sub, use your forums or maybe an ingame polling system.

This subreddit is one of the worst I've ever seen and even by reddit standards this is abysmal. Nothing but negativity, nothing constructive, dozens of posts about the same thing and overall a bunch of people that don't know what they're talking about acting like experts.

I know you wanna listen to your community but this is generally speaking not the good part of that community, just ignore this website.

True Story - The Adventures of Jackssparrow - Part 1 - Silverbeard

    Posted: 30 Oct 2019 01:12 PM PDT

True Story - The Adventures of Jackssparrow - Part 1 - Silverbeard

    Hello, guys! How are yah?

Let me take the opportunity the game is under maintenance to tell you ladies and gentleman one of my first adventures in Archage that I'll never forget. (The thread has screenshots, yey!) (English is not my main language, so, sry for any grammar mistakes). All of the events described in this story happened in the official landrush day (about 10 hours after opening for landgrab).

First of all, I have a character whose name is Jackssparrow. (Unfortunately the "double S" because some fker got the original name). Server Wynn, btw (I'm hated by many ppl there from my own nation, but this is a tale for other future threads).

So... as a player roleplaying Jack, I really wanted to be a pirate in this game. Once I knew about the landrush, I did my best to secure a piece of land near the sea (2C). But as a completely NEWB in this game, I didn't know the game had options for getting land IN ISLANDS!!!

I was asking about roleplaying as a pirate in game chat and some guy named Silverbeard whispered me telling me about the existence of PARADISIAC CARIBBEAN ISLANDS from South to North of the Great Sea and how he managed to conquer some of those lands in the original Archage (about 4 years ago, when he managed to become a Pirate).

He got me interested. Aaand, he volunteered to party with me and show me some of those amazing archipelagos. Immediately I bought the idea (as I was killed by 2 seabugs the same day trying to get out of Two Crowns by rowboat.) Oh yeah, forgot to mention I was lvl 34 when we made this "little" trip.

So I whispered him "Hey mister, where are you?" And he said: "Waiting for you in Two Crowns docks".

Now think with me guys. A guy, named Silverbeard, waiting for me in a big city's harbor, willing to help me visiting the most amazing islands in Archage by taking me into his Galleon with all his 20 men crew who were going to conquest all Seven Seas!!!! I was picturing a guy like this:

    https://i.pinimg.com/originals/03/2b/d8/032bd8ddf77b8859ade7e220dca74eb5.jpg

Buuuut, it happened to be a lil different situation:

For my surpise... it was a midget with his rusty beard and rusty rowboat waiting for me in the docks.

But it's OK. The fellow midget was such a chill guy for helping me out. He just said "well, it's gonna be fun, anyway" when I asked if it would be okay to travel by ROWBOAT a sea full of sea creatures so much higher than our lvls, despite the fact we could get PKlized anytime in a full-time WAR ZONE.

And for my surprise we got to the very first island and as I was eager for a landspot in an island, I managed to get the land the fastest I could run and I was very happy I could reserve it.

    I was happy.

    Dance with me, Silverbeardooo

    \"I've got a jar of dirt! I've got a jar of diiirt!\"

Once I had reserved my space in this island located between the 2 major continentes, I was relieved. And Silverbeard wanted to show me other islands! I still had another house. So, why not?

And the jouney was only beggining.

From the amazingly BEAUTIFUL Luckbeard's Island on South (only 24x24 could be put there) to the astonishing pretty Dolphin's island on the center of the map (I wanted to grab land there but it was fully taken) – AND IT REALLY HAVE DOLPHINS THAT PLAY AROUND THE ISLAND, I MUST GET THIS SPOT EVENTUALLY!!!. We had a lot of funny experiences: surviving jellyfish, seabugs (I hate those guys!) and avoiding Ghost Ships!!! I had an adventure I never had before in any other MMO game.

You row, I take the pictures.

    Davy? Is that you?

WTF SILVER, YOU DROP THE PADDLES!

I almost got a spot in Castaway Archipelago but went for the Pirate Island!

And since we had a lot of time to chat (we were using a rowboat, cmon!), Silverbeard told me about his plans of creating a Naval Merchant guild and about the PIRATE ISLAND. Actually, he shouldn't have told me about the later one, because I got totally obsessed with it.

I'm a pirate. I'm Jack fucking Sparrow. I had to have a spot in PIRATE ISLAND. But he told me about the non friendly NPCs and everything else about the endgame and consequences of becomming a pirate (I wouldn't be able to join his Merchant guild). BUT I didn't give up.

Well... as a lot of other epic adventures, this one didn't end in all glory for it's characters. WHYY SOMEONE HAS TO DIEEE???

Silverbeard went to show me Seabug Island. I warned him... "It's okay, SIlverbeardo, I've seen it... didn't like it. I hate seabugs. And they are literally EVERYWHERE surrounding this piece of land. Why would anyone want to have a house there. And Silverbead "Hey, just lemme check if we can actually put a house there." And I: "Nooo, Silver, it's risky, forget about it. Let's go back."

Silver: "It's okay, I've got it. Look."

And he got his upgraded glider, boosted it, flown trough the air, like a midget silver bearded angel, whose long beard hair strands sparkled as the sunbeans lighted the sea salt encrusted in them.

BUT NOT FOR MUCH LONG, UNTIL A FKING SEABUG JUMPED LIKE 20 METERS (I WAS LIKE WTTTFFFFF), MAKING SILVER LOSE HIS GLIDER AND FALL TO THE DEPTHS OF SEA TO BE GANGBANGED BY A HORDE OF SEABUGS THAT DEVOURED THE POOR DWARF.

Still, he managed to go to the island BUT THE SEABUGS KEPT FOLLOWING HIM EVEN ON LAND, AND GOT HIM AGAIN, AND THIS TIME, WAS SILVERBEARD'S LAST BREATH.

    Silver, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

It was horryfing to see all of this, but OF COURSE, I took a picture of the situation. This one is when he managed to get to land but seabugs were persistent.

And because of this act of courage/dumbness of my great midget friend, Silverbeardo, I made the resto of the trip alone.

Got back to the West portion of the sea, spotted a cool island that looked like a thorn shaped creature with thorns everywhere and since I was near, I managed to get to Pirate Island, by going trough a hidden passage, next to the North's Priestress of Nui, avoiding the Pirate NPCs and a fking BIG shark in rage that almost killed me and destroyed my rowboat...and eventually got my landspot there (after waiting a lot, because I had no idea I actully had to have like 70 certificates because of 3 properties already).

    Got it!

Just liked this pic. Also, in Pirate Island

No wonder they call it the Pirate Island...

And this is my first BIG adventure in Archage Unchained. Lovin the game so far. Hadn't had this experience in a while. I know the Community has a lot of complainments about the game's situation right now, but I just try to roleplay and have fun. You never know how's going to be your next adventure! As I'm a still a newb, I'm still discovering so many features Archage has to offer. I never traveled the seas of Archage before. A unique experience! Thinking about continuing those adventures as a series in this reddit, but unfortunately not havin the time I wanted to play this game to the MAX.

TLDR: Man, it's a story. If you want a TLDR for reading a story you should as well avoid it, as it would not be pleasurable to read it trough.

We need those 300 coins so we can catch up to the first week exploiters.

    Posted: 30 Oct 2019 05:02 AM PDT

*Make your voice heard on reddit - a thread that votes FOR 300 diligence coins per account to reduce the GAP.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Because the exploiters have voiced together against giving out diligence coins as they would like to keep their lead, I suggest it is our turn to do the same.
So Sally has 27 labor recharges, and Joe has 1.
Sally has 2600% more labor than Joe.Now each get 300 dilligence and buy 60 labor recharges.
Sally has 87,000 labor, and Joe has 61,000 labor.
Now Sally only has 42% more labor than Joe.

Anyone against this idea are the people who have exploited! This is gonna help all the players who didn't exploit archepass, a great gapcloser, we need those 300 diligence coins.----------------------Keep voting and our voice will be heard------------------------

I'm surprised how stupid people are, that they think they will benefit the exploiters even more...It cost much labor/gold/time to get from t4 epic to t4 mythic/eternal.But no so much getting from T1 Celestial to T4 Epic. So gap will close.

T1 Celestial has a HUGE dps difference compared to T4 Epic.
T4 Epic, has a very small dps diferrence from T4 Mythic/Eternal.
So closing the gap, means better competitive and equal playing ground for everyone.

I hope you can understand this in your brain, or you need to go back to school.

Idiots Who Didnt Want The Diligence Have Now Actively Increased The Gap Between Legit Players and Exploiters

    Posted: 29 Oct 2019 08:39 PM PDT

*ArchePass will remain disabled for minimum of two weeks, and grace period is still being tested internally. We're also reconsidering the 300 Diligence Coin grant and are in discussions with XLGames based on player feedback.

Good job in actively ruining the servers even more if you're someone who bitched about the coins.

How to fix the 300 diligence drama

    Posted: 30 Oct 2019 06:17 AM PDT

    Don't give everyone 300 diligence.

Give the difference between those 300 and the amount that player has already received in archepass.

Players that were already archepass level 15+ would then only be receiving 165 diligence as they had already received 135.

Edit: not the perfect fix but definitely way better than giving so much extra diligence to those who already have so much.

Votekick in FFA arena is the dumbest thing ever- who's idea was that?

    Posted: 30 Oct 2019 06:29 AM PDT

Was winning in Free For All arena, and after stealing a colonel kill with a max charge concussion arrow, I get teleported out with a message saying I've been kicked from the arena, and did't get any badges. It also counted against my entry limit.

How is this fair? People just votekick the person that's winning so they get more badges, or just kick because they're salty.

Change expansion scroll cost in the shop.

    Posted: 30 Oct 2019 09:38 AM PDT

Honestly just change it to 25 gold. Why are we deciding between inconvenience, functional progression, and cosmetics.

I know the dilligence coin shop isn't ideal game design and was just used to convert to non P2W, so I understand. But I think we need to revisit prices in that shop.

Inventory space is a MUST in this game... It was gated previously behind the credit shop to help revenue I'm sure, but that is no longer the business model. Just let us spend gold for em.

    On a related note:

Im fairly sure building certs to trade land are stuck in there too. (Alternatively like 50k vocation or some BS) If so, I guess we're never trading land. Also don't 24x24 gazebos use like 6 building certs for its recipe? Guess those don't exist in unchained now by extension.

It really wouldn't take much dev work to adjust dilligence coin prices, and huge bonus points if we can just make some of them sold for gold instead. It would make for a much more cohesive design for unchained.

PSA: You Do Not Need Expensive Mats To Create Your Farm Wagon

    Posted: 30 Oct 2019 03:09 PM PDT

As stated in the title, once you create your farm cart you can convert it into a "Chroma Farm Cart". Then there is a Chroma Farm Wagon that still counts for the quest and they give you 100% of the resources needed to craft it.

"NA maintenance is still being worked on for both NA ArcheAge: Unchained and ArcheAge Legacy. No ETA on being online yet as an unexpected issue came up during this process. Stay tuned for more updates regarding this."

Game crashing on startup after update. Anyone else? Re-installed and still no luck.

    Posted: 30 Oct 2019 12:25 PM PDT

Restarted my PC just in case there was some processes up interfering as well, but still not any luck with that either. Curious if anyone else is crashing or if it's just me.

Edit: What weirdo downvoted this post and everyone's comments? Gamingo? LOL

Tips and Tricks for New Players (as a new player)

    Posted: 30 Oct 2019 10:15 AM PDT

I never played Archage Legacy growing up, I was just never into P2W games. I took this opportunity to decide to give Archage Unchained a try on my own. That's right, alone; no friends, no guild, no prior information besides that few videos I could find about classes and factions. That was my initial thought of the game, it was going to be something like any other MMO but just, larger.

Oh boy, was I wrong. This game is more than immense; to put simply, there is so much to do. I don't mean daily missions and the sorts, I mean you don't just have to quest and kill monsters to level up. You could become a cargo trader, a pirate out in the open seas, a roleplayer, or a someone who simply likes to harvest and gather their own materials to make something to supply the community with. The opportunities are endless, but so is knowing everything.

As much as I want to say to look online on forums and youtube for information, most of it is eitehr outdated or simply misinformed by people wanting to keep their trades a secret. So, as a new player, I'll let you in on some things that I have noticed so let's start:

1... Your adventure gear will be turned into Hiram gear eventually, but do not fret if you happen to lose a few pieces. You get a full set of Hiram gear (clother, lether or plate, you pick), 3 of any weapon/bow/shield and your choice of instrument by as a reward by simply doing the Hiram dailies. Simply join one of the many raids, pick up the quest, help out to complete them and you'll have a another grand Hiram set. This is perfect especially if you want to have a DPS set, and either a tank/healer set.

2... Do your Blue-Salt Brotherhood quest. Acquire your donkey from your main faction base (Austera for east folks), and those will help with your cargo missions. These missions are vital if you want to acquire your 8x8 farm, 16x16 farm and a farm wagon. The quest are very straight forward, and do not vendor or sell any materials they give you. Those are used in later Brotherhood missions, so keep them! Once you craft your farm cart, change it into a farm cart chroma (no cost is required) so you may upgrade it into a farm wagon with less materials being used (mainly the wheel). Do this only after the farm cart quest is done (summon and deliver the two cargo), otherwise you will not get credit for the quest.

3... Folio is your friend. Shift+O, and search by materials to find what certain things can craft into.

Speaking of crafting, pick a gatheirng task that you like and stick with it to minimize on your labour usage unless you can micro-manage. Focus on something (say gathering), and take a look through your folio and auction house to see what sells most, and track its economic progression. Look for what will become popular or in-demand next, whatever is already in-demand is already starting to drop in value.

4... Every zone has your main city, your community centre and one or two other smaller areas. Those smaller areas are generally where most of the resources will spawn around the area. They might spawn in the city/town itself, or a few distances off. Spawns for wild stuff are static, if you find a good spot mark it down, remember it as their spawn locations do not change. Find good spots for yourself, Haranya has at least three prime mining locations with 20+ stone veins. Explore.

5... Mailing items to yourself will last for 30 days, so use that method to free up inventory space for yourslf.

6... Have a look at the General Merchant, the blessed hammers are used for character customization and you're able to buy Fusion Alembic for costumes and fashion for 20g. You can buy them from the diligence and credit store, but please do not.

7... Honor and vocation badges are valuable. If someone is listing to buy them unless the prices are higher than 40 gold for 7k honor, or 450 vocation badges for 5 gold do not accept the offer.

That's it - that's all I have got. It isn't much for returning players, but these are things I could not really figure out from forums or weren't as clear. Especially the additional Hiram set, and what the General Merchant sells.

edit; I'm on Runert and will generally be roaming around protecting lower levels in hostile zones if i'm able do. I'm not the best, I don't have friends, family or a guild, but it hasn't stopped me from playing the game and enjoying it.
