| AAU runs silky smooth, I love the 64bit update!!! Posted: 03 Oct 2019 01:02 PM PDT So yea... the 64bit client is great! It appears to run perfectly smooth, the way you would expect a AAA game to run, though AA never has before. For me AA has always has been a very laggy game (I'm not talking about network lag, I have a good connection) I mean the random freezes, micro stutter, very odd rubber-banding like movement, oh and don't even get me started on the jerky lag caused by housing zones. I'm talking about getting 120 FPS but watching your character constantly jerking as you run around. It's NOT normal, it just looks odd. I was quite shocked to see how well AAU actually runs on the PTS. My framerate seems to be about the same maybe 5-10% higher, but what's remarkable is how smooth it runs and looks as you move around. There are people everywhere on the PTS obviously, but even that with all those busy players around, it seems to have little to no effect on FPS. Unlike the old-AA where even one player coming into draw range can drop my framerate by like 20-40fps, and often causes a 1 second freeze as well. So this is a significant improvement!! The rendering is now as smooth as a proper first-person shooter, where high FPS actually looks/feels better as it should. I'm crossing my fingers and hoping that it still runs this good when all the housing zones are filled up. THANK YOU XL GAMES, I'M LOVING AAU!!! [link] [comments]  | ||

| Posted: 03 Oct 2019 07:39 AM PDT Anyone experiencing random drops of audio in game? Mine goes out randomly and I have to restart the game to get the sound to come back. Looked for some threads on this haven't seen any. My head set continues to work in Discord or anything I have playing in a browser like a twitch stream or YouTube video. But all audio in game is gone. *UPDATE* Someone in nation chat suggested to switch the sound quality to High from Very High, once completed restart the game. I just played for 30 minutes with no issues. Give it a shot and see if it works. [link] [comments]  | ||

In fresh start it was beyond stupid, if you were tank or healer you gained way less honor than the DPS classes, because the last hitter gains the most honor from a kill. Now I get there, and when I try to log into PTS2 I get: "The Gods have disconnected you! Check your network status and read any recent alerts." Since I can't find any alerts it's either the servers are f***ed or the Gods are just some d*ckheads fooling with my login attempts. Anybody else getting this error? Got to the Farm Cart quest on the PTS but the mats are really hard to get, how long does it realistically take to get it? Because of the Thunderstruck Log and Opaque Polish I assume it takes weeks / months to get it, depending on how much the player plays. Also what is best way to level after 30? I am currently 34 I think (got DC again), the main story gave extreme xp early on, like 10-20x of yellow quests, but now it gives same xp as yellow quests so not sure if you need to do yellow quests at ~35+. But I heard you can hit max lvl in like 6 hours, I doubt that is by doing yellow quests. [link] [comments]  | ||

Redoubt ONLY LASTS 5 SECONDS, and the other static buff just turned into a CC break. The Stun -> Trip combo from Shield Bash and Shield Slam doesn't exist anymore.... [link] [comments]  | ||
| Posted: 03 Oct 2019 02:36 PM PDT Anyone every try this alternative build that is kind of similar to Spellsinger? Shadowplay would strictly be used for movement and damage buffs, while the rest would be similar to Spellsingers run and gun mentality. This build has lots of AoE potential and has really hard hitting skills if you stack malice. I realize there isnt any deep freeze that SpellSinger may have, but it's not necessary since you have instant casts and one viable root. The benefit to this build is dumping your instant casts on a CC'ed target, and go for high hitting malice abilities depending on the enemy. When you're on cooldown you'll be doing machine gun stars similar to fire bolts, while keeping distance. [link] [comments]  | ||

With bottleneck I mean the quests where only one player at a time can kill a mob and everyone has to wait for the respawns. I tried out west human today and the story line has 3 bottleneck quests that took me some time (hard to get first hit as mage). Any general tips on these and how to tag mobs fast? Is the damage difference really that much that it'd be a total gimp to run spear? | For the people saying Gamigo is an EU company (refunds) Posted: 03 Oct 2019 04:07 PM PDT They are selling the archeage preorders through their US front - "gamigo US inc.", yes, even to EU customers, this allows them to have a no refunds policy. This means it will be extra work going through your bank/paypal to get the refund if you are purchasing from the EU. Just a heads-up, seeing as people here keep posting about how gamigo is EU and refunds will be easy if they screw it up. [link] [comments]  | ||
