Can anyone outline for me the exact ways to get both diligience coins and inv expansion pass in AAU?

i've been trying to ask people on the pts for literally 4 days and all i've gotten is troll responses it's pretty terrible

How exactly can we acquire the inventory expansions in AAU? is it ONLY the diligence shop?

Secondly, how exactly can we acquire diligence coins?

is it ONLY the 3 we get a day for patron bonuses?

because if so that means it would take 17 days for each inventory expansion, one of the reasons im trying to figure this out is to gauge whether or not the extra inv expansion coupon in the preorder will save me significant amount of time, thanks.

plus i also would like to know how else to get diligence coins cause everything is VERY expensive if you're limited to 3/day..

i apologize if this is a stupid question but i don't play live so i don't know how it works over there

How is fishing

So, I played AA at the very begininng and fishing was one of the best, most fun activities in game with those big raids, ocean pvp etc. It was probably the thing i miss the most from that game but as I watch stuff and read about how the game changed i didn't see any mention of fishing at all. Is it still worth it and still fun?

Sparring Arena automatically disconnects my friend and I on PTS AAU

as the title says, we que up and get disconnected when we hit accept, and its not just me alone. is anyone else having this problem?

also i have audio crashing, where my audio just dies and eventually will lead to a crash maybe 30min to an hour later

Guild Land Locations

Hi, A question about land here.

I'm not looking for the most efficient pieces of land or anything like that. What would be a good spot that would reasonably still have land available say a week after land is unlocked. I'm running a guild and it would be nice to have all our land in generally the same area, even if we can't get it all on grab day. I was thinking something like a corner in Ahnimar(I'm West) but it's also quite a nice looking zone so maybe one of the uglier mid level zones would be better?

Class choice for potato player?

Ok, maybe not a potato, but as a player I do not have lightning fast reflexes, nor can I handle overly complex and fast combos too well. I'd love some class suggestions. When I played AA back in the day (quit when they added the lightning struck trees or something to cash shop) I mostly played as some kind of mage with shadowplay, cant remember detail, and a bit of archer..stone arrow maybe?`

Play style:

Cautious, enjoy being able to avoid unwanted fights, but still, good pve performance is more important than being ganked now and then. (stealth not an absolute requirement, but helps)
Mainly solo, but if the build is decent for group battles or zerg vs zerg thats also fine, or if I can swap to another build with mostly same gear for that, that would also be ok.
Melee/caster/archery doesnt really matter, although I expect archer builds might have me being caught too often due to occasionally being too slow / low situational awareness.

Castles, Auroria Land, Archeum, and Star Points in AA:U

So, I here that castles are changed and that there is no longer any housing the the old Auroria lands (Heedmar, Calmlands, etc). If this is true, how will people be getting Archeum and Regrade items? Will they be forced to deliver the logs and water all the way to diamond shores?

Sword vs Shortspear

Hey, so I only played mage before and wanted to play melee this time around, and most likely DW.

I understand the difference between sword and shortspear, basically 10% dmg vs 10% faster gcd. I'm only asking this because I have no way of knowing how much that difference is actually noticeable.

When geared I'll probably be at around 400-700 atk speed most of the time depending on BR/shadowplay buffs, at that point is the difference between 1.0 and 1.1 base gcd still noticeable ? Also it seems at least half of my skills have reduced gcd which makes the speed difference more negligible.

I think i've seen most people recommend Sword, so im curious.

Anyway just want to hear from experienced folks who have actually played with both how its like. Ty.

Level 30 Darkrunner skill rotation

What rotation do you guys recommend? I usually start with charge>triple slash>whirlwind>sunder earth>precision strike. Is that good? Sometimes I miss though and it screws my rotation up if I don't hit charg and I can't knock him down with whirlwind what do I do?

Hard time picking between archer, melee or mage? Here's a pros and cons list

cons for melee:
if you're playing a darkrunner you're a weeb
fk your life when you're getting clappered by fanatics (which consists of 30% of the playerbase)
RvR? Nice meme what are you gonna do? Sidelines are a thing though
PvE? DPS rotation seems kinda boring
1v1? Get kited by archers and mages or get clappered by rubberbanding high ping idiots with desync
not as in-debth compared to archers or mages

pros for melee:
you can be a mong and be successful
need only a T3 weapon to clobber so it's good at start of unchained
trip comboing into the 3 shot on some squishy idiots feelsgood
can use nodachis kawaii desu ne
1v1 is kinda fun when you're equal ping
like 8 very good classes to play compared to like 4-5 for archer
gearing is really fucking easy gearing is
really fucking cheap as you'll go hiram and that's just labor basically
your life in dungeons is kinda pog
choice between leather and plate, either more defensive or more offensive depending on your playstyle

cons for archer:
you're kinda shit early unless you're clobbering some poor clothies
hella expensive cus you need some library gear or eranor, you won't see this for a while on unchained
harder to gear than 7/7 hiram mong classes like mages and melee
pray to rngesus with your evasion rolls when you get jumped on by melees cus they'll hurt like hell
need hella gear to not just hit like a wed noodle on plate
Dpen / crit damage choice feels bad man
Plate fanatics yikers
ebonsong basically only competitive class in open world
only 4-5 viable classes
server needs to be next door to play
kinda mediocre in 1v1 except vs cloth mages
people think your class is shit so you better have some static groups for instances
probably the slowest to level (pick ebonsong for the songcraft bois and girls)

pros for archer:
probably the hardest class to be successful with so there's a lot to learn
kiting is kinda fun
only instant casts
best naval combat class for sure
solo PvE farming speed is kinda fast late game
promise of two shotting even the highest gear players from 30m away who doesn't want that? EXPENSIVE
with leather you can outrange mages
only one viable armor which makes gearing pretty straightforward
if mage picks cloth you win, you live for this basically
better in rvr than melees
deadeye is actually viable in rvr and naval combat which has a promise of 50m range in 6.2
you're not gonna see any nerfs in the coming year, bigger chance you get buffed (6.2 actually has buffs coming)
least played class so if you beat a mage/melee you can stroke your e-penis
you're not a mage like everyone else

mage cons:
you're a FoTM roller
get used to mirror matchups
if you pick cloth which you should you get one clobbered by archers (and melee if you can't kite them)
need to be able to kite otherwise you're dead
rolling plate kinda makes you a bitch and you'll lose vs other mages
getting Shadow Warrior's Shadow and Cruel Glory Sash is kinda annoying but really good

mage pros:
20 viable classes
malediction
unfair cheese combos
gear is straightforward
you do the most damage in PvP and PvE
best Dmg type for RvRs
feels kinda unbalanced in 1v1s
fun to play
can play with every armor type and be competitive so you do you honey boo boo
a lot of variety in your builds and good ancestrals
god's whip ani canceling is kinda pog
high skill ceiling which means you will always learn
choice between instant cast builds and casting builds

Destroyed Explorer Gear

Hey guys,

I just destroyed my Explorer Gear Weapon with a Stone that I got from a quest.

I got a crafting item and the upgrade item back... is there a way I can get a new weapon (I wanted to switch from Healer to Mage at lv21). :)

Or do I need to start over again, cuz I just dumped it? :-D

So I hopped on AA and noticed the daily hunt signs and got mount gear at level 8, and the arrows were at my feet. On the AA:U PTS servers at level 30+ I dont have arrows at my feet, I didn't see a single hunt sign, and I sure as hell don't have any gear for my mounts. lol Now I'm just guessing here, but did the daily hunt signs get replaced with the Archpass? I know most people will just rush green quests but some of us like doing all those random yellow quests as we go along our way. Are these things simply not in the PTS at this time and will be at launch or is it part of the change from AA to AA:U?

Is a tanky healer possible?

Hello there! Is it possible to make a frontline healer? I mean like very tanky, possibly using plate, with a 2 hand weapon or one hand/shield?

Also is it possible to farm at a decent speed with a healer? If so which skill trees?

So I'm a level 14 Elf, and I really wanna get into trading (the whole pack/cargo system) but I can't seem to find where to start... I did a bunch of research and I've been trying to find the Blue Salt Brotherhood person that introduces me to trading through a quest, but I can't seem to find them. Where do I go? Did i miss something? Do I need to be a certain level?
