    '' DAILY '' Hiram Quests to '' WEEKLY '' Hiram Quests Can Solve Everything - UP THIS FOR FUTURE!

    Posted: 21 Nov 2019 02:31 PM PST

    Hello guys i can see biggest problem about AAU is about people are burning out doing same thing every other day and myself included i am and most of my friends really burned out..
    Its not fun to do same Quests every day its like your not playing a game but feels like its a JOB..
    And its only way to Progress further and Gear up for PvP,PvE and to be able to join most content and be Useful..
    I can see LOTS of players Quitting because of this Daily Quests system..

    So heres my Easy and Quick solution about this;
    - Just make it '' WEEKLY '' for example;

    Daily = Kill 50 Sungold monsters - Weekly = Kill 350 Sungold Monsters
    Give people to Choose between Daily or Weekly Quest system which needs to be done for Progress further,
    Hiram & other Daily quests which must for progress should be Weekly for best gameplay Experience..
    So everyone will be happy 1 time a Week is going to be Fun and more Relaxing to play the game FOR EXAMPLE;
    People are going to finish all their Hiram and Other Daily quests in 1-2 Days because of new '' WEEKLY '' System and,
    they will continue to play Sandbox game and do whatever they want to do...
    THIS IS REALLY EASY FIX PLEASE JUST HEAR THE COMMUNITY AND HELP US TO PLAY THIS FANTASTIC GAME.

    Unlockable Emotes Guide (6.0)

    Unlockable Emotes Guide (6.0)

    Greetings ArcheAge Reddit! There is an older guide about this on the official forums, but I figured I'd update it a bit, as I'm not certain the person who created it still plays, and some things have changed since they last updated. All due credit for much of the following info goes to skullhead51 (AKA Skullhead on the former Kyrios server)).

    Currently, as of Patch 6.0: Shadows Revealed, there are 20 visibly unlockable emotes in the Skills > Emotes menu:
    (Not counting the Lord of the Dance consistent dance.)

    • /archer, /grumble, /sweep, /cower, /drunk, /shovel, /wipe, /guard, /think, /solemn, /drink, /fan, /umbrella, /yatarena, /greenman, /allout, /letloose, /robot, /tipsy, and /wiggle.

    https://preview.redd.it/vwox59p960041.png?width=413&format=png&auto=webp&s=56c13a4a332734c1bf5e0ef944c6462c5da22514

    There are also 4 emotes listed as rewards for one of the Theatrical Techniques achievements that do not appear to match any of the above unlockable emotes as found on the Skills > Emotes menu:

    • /hidetears, /stagger, /sick, /mop

    Some of these emotes/dances are purchased, and some are unlockable through in-game achievements. This guide should hopefully serve as a comprehensive guide to unlocking each and every one of them. At the time of writing this, I haven't unlocked all of the emotes yet, but it is my intention to. As that happens, I'll be able to confirm some of what I can only infer based on the text in the Achievements.

    There are 4 Achievements for these emotes. Three of them have multiple tasks to complete to unlock one emote per achievement, and one is a collection of 12 different individual tasks that each unlock various emotes. The Theatrical Techniques achievements can be found and (relatively) tracked in game through the achievements menu: Achievements > General > Misc.

    https://preview.redd.it/q7lq52yd60041.png?width=666&format=png&auto=webp&s=d62d781aa9b17620eeb207ae0b77d374fab6b5ac

    The in-game text gives you some description about what you need to do to unlock these. More specifics can be found below--

    ==========================================================
    /archer
    ==========================================================

    Part of the "Theatrical Techniques" achievement.
    "Fire 10k Arrows"

    This is pretty straightforward. You just need to fire 10,000 arrows.

    You will only need the "Shoot Arrow" skill (a default skill all players have), a bow, and a target. You can get this either by naturally using your skill throughout the game, or by concertedly using this skill 10,000 times--or a mix of both. The quickest and easiest way to do this is to hotkey the skill on your skillbar, find a training dummy, and hold the skill down to fire repeatedly. Starting from scratch, this will take roughly 2-3 hours.

    ==========================================================
    /grumble
    ==========================================================

    Part of the "Theatrical Techniques" achievement.
    "200 Convictions"

    For this, you will need to go to trial and be convicted 200 times. This is more of a time sink than anything. The best way to do this without incurring too much infamy, while saving the most time, is to get convicted, then repeatedly break out a few times a day. Throw yourself at some guards to get arrested. Because your armor takes some hits to durability, you should unequip any items you don't want affected.

    ==========================================================
    /sweep
    ==========================================================

    Part of the "Theatrical Techniques: Sweep" achievement.

    This line of tasks requires that you go to 8 different NPCs and "thank" them by typing /gratitude, while the NPC is targeted. Tip: You can target them easily from around 100m away by typing /target (name)

    ==========================================================
    /cower
    ==========================================================

    Part of the "Theatrical Techniques: Cower" achievement.

    This line of tasks requires that you go to 6 different NPCs and "pray" to them by typing /prayer, while the NPC is targeted. Tip: You can target them easily from around 100m away by typing /target (name)

    Like a Prayer: Ynystere

    ==========================================================
    /drunk
    ==========================================================

    Part of the "Theatrical Techniques" achievement.
    "Eat a Snack 1,000 Times"

    Eat 1,000 "food" items. Hardtack does not work! Assorted Meatballs, sold by Cooking Merchant NPCs, does!

    ==========================================================
    /shovel
    ==========================================================

    Part of the "Theatrical Techniques" achievement.
    "Plant 300 Farmhouse Fields"

    Unconfirmed for 6.0 (I just haven't had the chance to test it personally), but working as of 2.9: Using the second option on the upgrade farmhouse plot to switch between farming/gathering seed types will contribute to the achievement. So it isn't necessary to plant seeds and you can just spam this 300 times. You can even do this on an upgraded farmhouse set to public, guild or family if you do not own one yourself.

    ==========================================================
    /wipe
    ==========================================================

    Part of the "Theatrical Techniques" achievement.
    "Complete 'Taming the Wilds' x30"

    "Taming the Wilds" is a Daily Blue Salt Quest accepted from your local Blue Salt "Animal Trainer." This NPC will give you 2 taming quests per day, per continent. You can accept each continent's quests, for a total of 4 per day.

    ==========================================================
    /guard
    ==========================================================

    Part of the "Theatrical Techniques: Guard" achievement.

    This line of tasks requires that you go to 6 different NPCs and "salute" them by typing /raisesword, while the NPC is targeted. Tip: You can target them easily from around 100m away by typing /target (name)

    Salute a Sentry: Marianople

    ==========================================================
    /think
    ==========================================================

    Part of the "Theatrical Techniques" achievement.
    "Drink 1000 Mana Potions"

    Another straightforward one. The cooldowns on most mana potions make this sort of a waiting game. For casters, it might eventually just happen naturally throughout the course of your play.

    Note: "Mage's Vapor" does not work for this achievement! "Serene Lake" has been tested and is confirmed to work.

    ==========================================================
    /solemn
    ==========================================================

    Part of the "Theatrical Techniques" achievement.
    "Spread the Love x100"

    Use /love 100 times. You do not need to have a target. This is easiest to do by putting the emote on your hotbar and spamming it for a little while. This should only really take a couple of minutes. Unsure if rapid-fire spamming it works.

    ==========================================================
    /drink
    ==========================================================

    Part of the "Theatrical Techniques" achievement.
    "Drink 1000 Goblets of Honor"

    Also straightforward. Just drink 1000 Goblets of Honor. This is more of an honor and time sink than anything.

    ==========================================================
    /fan
    ==========================================================

    Obtained through a Boss Drop

    Obtained through a Marketplace Purchase

    Purchase for 1350 Credits on the Marketplace. Marketplace > Credits > UCC/Image.

    ==========================================================
    /hidetears
    ==========================================================

    Part of the "Theatrical Techniques" achievement.
    "Fail 500 Regrades"

    Unconfirmed. This appears to require 500 heartbreaking armor/weapon/accessory regrade failures. In 6.0, regrades aren't quite handled in the way they used to be, but there is still a chance of failure. This achievement hasn't yet been tested in 6.0, however, and is the only emote on the list that doesn't give a "failed requirements" error message or simply vanish when you try typing the emote command before unlocking it. It is possible that it might not be in the game anymore, but that remains to be seen.

    ==========================================================
    /stagger
    ==========================================================

    Part of the "Theatrical Techniques" achievement.
    "Spend 300,000 Labor"

    Another very straightforward achievement. At the AAU labor regen rate of 10 labor every 5 minutes, excluding the use of any labor pots, and assuming you're never sitting at max labor overlong, the very fastest you could spend so much labor is just over 104 days.

    ==========================================================
    /sick
    ==========================================================

    Part of the "Theatrical Techniques" achievement.
    "Drink 1000 Health Potions"

    One more straightforward one. The cooldowns on most health potions make this sort of a waiting game. It might eventually just happen naturally throughout the course of your play if you are a health pot user.

    Note: "Veiled Flame" does not work for this achievement! Solar Glow very likely does work. The mana equivalent, "Serene Lake" has been tested and has proven to work.

    ==========================================================
    /mop
    ==========================================================

    Part of the "Theatrical Techniques" achievement.
    "Cleaning a Treehouse x100"

    Treehouses accumulate spiderwebs both inside and out, every so often. Cleaning these 100 times, presumably, is how you get this achievement completed.

    Archeage KR got the Archepass for the 6.3

    The Archepass will get release with the new 6.3 Update on the Korean Version.

    Quest only give Gilda Star & Exp.

    Edit : The Archepass will be release on the new Korean Server "Garden" (it's a restricted server btw).

    https://archeage.xlgames.com/mboards/amigo/22683

    The garden server's content open plan (revised 11/21 vote date) and the garden server are preparing to reduce the P2W factor and create a fair play environment . As a reward for ArchePass, most items and items that are essential to play are set to be acquired, so you don't have to worry about growing your character or enjoying the game without purchasing the product.

    Trying to Pick a Tank Mage (Early Game)

    Posted: 21 Nov 2019 10:45 AM PST

    Okay, so Archeage has it's own trinity sliders...

    Tanky || DPS/HPS || Mobility

    Pick Two

    That's absolutely fine. I'm not looking to be top DPS while being the tankiest and most mobile person in the raid.

    I am a bit curious about the meta though. I played during the original release of legacy and mained a Dark Runner then. This time around I decided I wanted to make a tank mage. My first thoughts was Revenant, which can be really fun, but the clunkiness of the servers even with my good latency can cause animation cancelling to feel rough. I spent some time playing as a Fanatic and Spectre which is really fun, but I know that their current builds are not "tanky". What I mean is that I should really drop my shield for a dagger for the attack speed bonus.

    So with the current heavy state of Dark Runners running around killing people in a literally trip into triple whirlwind, are people like me just screwed? I went the route of Cloth + Scepter/Shield and have been keeping a dagger somewhat close for swapping my shield. It feels like I have to decide to go full tank or full burst with nothing in between because of the insane amount of damage coming from these melee characters.

    I'd love to eventually play an initiator for my squad as a sort of pseudo-tank magic damage class. But, for now, should I just plan on going pure DPS as a Fanatic/Spectre with dual wield and spend the extra gold to keep my dagger/shield hand in hand as I continue to tier up?

    I know the right answer is "do what you want" but I did that on release and made a mistake by not judging what the meta would be correctly and now I get literally 2 buttoned by red Dark Runners, etc, even with my 50% PDEF.

    Any advice on this would be great.

    Thank you!

    To people that burn out to not fall behind

    Posted: 21 Nov 2019 04:15 AM PST

    https://ibb.co/y0LbvGd

    Here are some stats that you may need to just rethink about how you play. Thoses stats Come from a spreadsheet created by Phlai, with a 230k in larceny and where the purses are ancestrals. This is to reach the max Hiram Gear in eternal .. without the cloak/costume/undergarment and accessories

    You may fall behind now but people will be locked due to the lack of infusions anyway and you will catch up eventually. (Maybe they would have one or 2 pieces above you due to the gap you may have now with no-lifers)... Just do your hiramz dailies and you'll theoricaly not fall behind as everyonee has the same amount per day, and you'll need 1200+days so around 4 years to reach max Gear.

    This also doesnt take into account gems/temper and failure during awakenings.

    Just breath and enjoy the game your way.

    Should I buy...Looking for info

    Posted: 21 Nov 2019 03:38 PM PST

    Hey everyone!

    Thinking of picking up this game tonight. I've never played Archeage but instead have sat from afar and admired. Reasons why I've never decided to give it a go is because of everything I've heard about the dev's and toxic community has turned me off. Now that the game has gone through a change with devs/content/etc., I'm considering picking it up. I guess my question is:

    What exactly has changed? What are the new dev's doing right and what are they doing wrong? I hear that end-game is just doing dailies all day if you want to be competitive in a pvp environment. Is this true? Is it possible to be competitive without dedicating 100% of your time to the daily grind? If the game is worth the price, should I go for the standard or one of the higher tiered versions?

    I'm very new when it comes to specifics of this game (obviously) but am a MMO gamer of many years. Any additional information that you can throw in would be real helpful. Thanks!
