    Despite everything, thank you Gamigo.

    Posted: 04 Nov 2019 10:56 AM PST

I know there are many issues with the game at the moment, and I know why people are upset (rightfully so).

That aside, holy shit I finally get to play the game I have been wanting to play for like 10 years now with my friends. We are all enjoying it in our own bubble while the issues are being fixed. Please don't give up and thank you for providing us a platform to actually have fun in a game again! As long as progress is shown for the issues at hand, I'll keep playing and supporting the game.

Am I the only one having fun?

    Posted: 04 Nov 2019 01:13 PM PST

I like to come to reddit for guides but it seems like every post is trashing Gamigo. As someone new to the game I'm having fun with it. I enjoy the class skill sets and theorizing good builds and learning all the different things this game has to offer. I wish it was easier to make base t1 alt armor/weapon sets to play alt classes but I'm enjoying the pvp and the overall feel of the game. After coming from BDO I'm enjoying that there's so many group activities to do as opposed to play game mostly solo until it's time for node wars/siege.

It sucks that some people exploited some bugs to get ahead but as someone with a full time job and other games I play I know I could never keep up with the no lifers. There's just not enough time in the day to keep up with people that can complete every single daily award in the game every day and farm coin purses for 3 hours and work on whatever long term plans they have with their alts. I just focus on what I'm doing and what I can do to have more fun.

As a brand new player to the game, I don't know enough to comment on what's been good or bad about the release. What I do know is this game is awesome to play and I can't stop taking photos like this.

How to get a fishing boat design with very little effort.

    Posted: 04 Nov 2019 02:31 PM PST

Recently some servers are getting flooded with fishing boat designs, and people are wondering why so I figured I would make a detailed post exposing the meme. I don't think select guilds should be keeping all of the knowledge to themselves and getting this out there will benefit the greatest amount of people, and possibly warrant a fix.

You can do the Ocean Dominator achievement in a raid, and receive progress from every fish caught in that raid. This should not be considered an exploit as I can only assume its an intended feature. The achievement has you catch 100 small medium and gargantuan fish in the ocean and rewards you with the fishing boat design. In a medium sized raid it took around five hours to get the boat on a fresh alt, and it also works on each character on an account so $25 and 10 hours of effort = 2 designs which can be a ton of gold depending on your server.

Many guilds have already been forming fishing raids the last few days to make the most of this, and on my NA server boats have dropped to around 300-400g per design. I know of people who have gotten 6 designs already and sold them for thousands of gold before the crashes.

Tl;dr Form a sport fishing raid with as many players as possible and catch some fish to get free fishing boat designs

Where is the 45 diligence coins and 7k bound labor rechargers that promised?

    Posted: 04 Nov 2019 11:52 AM PST

It is Monday 11/4/2019 and many of us still haven't received anything. Half of the fr***in server got the 45 coins and 7k labor the day they announced and gave the pack to these who log into the website and applied the claim through your account management page that same day and then later they disabled the claim because " other accounts were receiving multiple claims of the items "

I'm already tired of this. This game has been having so many problems lately that I am already losing the motivation to play it.

A current list outlining the Gamigo problem, and addressing those who say they're doing their best

    Posted: 04 Nov 2019 05:53 AM PST

I've just been reading through a post where someone said "Wow they haven't spoken in 2-3 days THE HORROR" (Paraphrasing) and decided to write up why this attitude is unhelpful.

The game they'd pushed for 3 months is only a month old has had 4 game breaking exploits and has gated the majority of us horribly. For a company that's pushed communication with all the issues going on, not giving us an update for the last 3 days is a joke.

    Be sarcastic all you like but we can't;

    • Upgrade gear AND use Labor to make money
    • Open our purses
    • Generate enough labor
    • Get any more bag space
    • Do Golden plains/Halcy (For upgrading gear you're generating 10 labor really slowly, it costs 200 Labor to throw on a temper, 500 labor to add a Lunagem, 120 to throw 6 infusions on your gear and absolutely no way to generate labor since the Archepass, Cash shop, Dilligence coins and Halcy 1k pot are all bust.)
    • Do Arena without game breaking lagg (EU) or at all (NA)
    • Use the ArchePass that Gamigo rolled out to mitigate the non-Apex situation
    • Recharge Labor
    • Use the majority of professions since Hiram is the main goal, and there's no demand for the majority of resources
    • Strive towards any sort of endgame

And loads more points but I think in the 30 or so days the game's been open this is more than enough to list.

    There are many players who have;

    • Repeatedly killed the World Bosses to gain 50g a pop without Labor
    • Exploited labor with the Dwarf situtation (despite being similar to the WB issue they've gone against their own ToS to allow it)
    • Managed to mess up sending Dilligence out so most of us didn't get it and some got much more

The fact that Gamigo has been silent for days with all these ridiculous game issues, some that have been around since 2014 is a complete joke. You've got people not getting responses to tickets for weeks after spending hundreds on packs and their last livestream was cancelled because they were all going abroad for something.

Gamigo pushed how transparent they were going to be in comparison to Trion and there was genuine hope for the game, and now they've managed to utterly fuck up their first month with absolutely no workaround and they've ghosted us.

If you think 2-3 days of not responding is fine, it would be if this was a minor bug and did not impact the economy and the game had been out for a year but really - If you had opened a company and promised the world, fucked it up 4 times in just over a month and ignored the customers you'd get shut down.

People aren't over-reacting here and by dismissing them you're helping Gamigo take a back foot on this issue by rolling over and letting them piss on you.

players abusing blade flurry mechanics in peace zones

    Posted: 04 Nov 2019 08:01 AM PST

On our server(AAU) Belstrom there are quite a few players, which abuse the mechanics of blade flurry to kick players from the airship, so they die and they can grab their packs.

If you dont have Shadowplay or are firran, you just simply die and cant do anything. This is really unfun way to die and loose a trade pack, if you cant even defend yourself in any form.

Here is an example, what is happening: https://clips.twitch.tv/FrozenVastFishAllenHuhu

People will leave the game over this and Gamigo is loosing out on money. We need to raise awareness for this crap, so it gets fixed soon.

Please, comment with your server/story, if this happened to you too.

Fun how Gamigo support is non-existing

Fyi, it’s the casuals that prop up the mmo

    Posted: 04 Nov 2019 02:11 PM PST

Every mmo, that has made things hard for the casual to semi-casual player, has suffered when it comes to player retention.

For AAU I really think it would've had a good run. The casual to semi-casual player would've enjoyed it. It was different enough but still had theme park elements to keep them. Labor shortage though is something that will kill all interest. And Gamigo's lack of communication, and lack of sense, is leaving them in the dark.

Will royal seed prices ever go down? They're bottlenecking larders

    Posted: 04 Nov 2019 09:28 AM PST

So right now most packs are stuck at 50% because no one is doing larders. Larders aren't worthwhile, because they take a royal seed which is like 7-8 gold. Lumber/iron/stone prices have bottomed out, but the seeds are in the way.

If the price on the seeds dropped to ~2 Gold, then maybe people will start doing larders, especially as people get burned out on farming and want to put something down that takes less effort to maintain.

Are we going to get any changes to event timing?

    Posted: 04 Nov 2019 10:01 AM PST

People were already having issues with once-daily events being at stupid times, and now with daylight savings it's even worse. If you're on the west coast Abyssal Attack is 2:30-4:30 PM. Halcy (not that it even works) is at 2AM and 1PM (and why are things like this even time-restricted?). How is anyone with a job supposed to do these?

Upgrade Dawnsdrop Guards? or Sell Royal Seeds?

    Posted: 04 Nov 2019 09:55 AM PST

So I've been crafting/saving mats to get ready to upgrade my Dawnsdrop Guards.

Because once you have THOSE upgraded, you can start upgrading your OTHER Dawnsdrop equipment pretty quickly.

But then I noticed that Royal Seeds are selling for 12g each on Runet atm, and now I'm sweating, thinking what would be best.

What do you Recommend? Upgrade the Guards and use those to to make a more long term foundation?

Or sell off the Royal seeds while I can and just get them again later.

I Honestly don't know what the "Normal" going rate for Royal Seeds are, So I can't tell if these prices are High or Low.
