Melee Weapon Types & Attack Speed Explained - ArcheAge Video Guide Posted: 08 May 2019 06:15 AM PDT https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ZW3ThYKN_4 ​ Hi all, ​ Just finished my 2nd baseline guide video for all you melee folks out there. Just a quick video discussing the different weapon types (slashing, piercing and crushing) as well as the base attack speeds on all melee weapons. In the first half of the video you will see a quick rundown of how each of the weapon types function in a pvp setting against their respective armour types. The second half of the video will be myself attempting to explain (to the best of my ability) how base attack speed on melee weapons effects your damage and speed in a way that I hope is beginner friendly. ​ Weapon Types & Attack Speed Explained: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ZW3ThYKN_4 ​ This should be the last generic melee guide I will put out before I get into build specific territory (darkrunner, executioner, blade dancer, shadowblade, etc). Returning player endgame question Posted: 08 May 2019 02:16 AM PDT Dear community, after returning and leveling to 55, i have questions that i can't seem to find an answer for anywhere on the internet. Endgame activities What does the typical daily routine look like for most players? I am doing Hiram dailies every day, other than that i have no idea if i should be doing CR, GR, and there are a lot of other events / dungeons that i don't even know exist. Gearing Hiram gear is pretty trivial and well explained on Youtube, but which cloak/accessories am i supposed to get? Where can i get them? There is 0 information about that. Spectre / Malediction build The new skillset seemed nice initially but i'm still not sure about it's viability, is Spectre considered a good pvp class? Couple of questions regarding Gear and some other stuff Posted: 08 May 2019 05:06 AM PDT Hey, a returning player here. Have played for around 2 weeks now. Got a hand of alot of things, but some other things are a mystery to me. I'd appreciate it if some of you could answer it. Btw I am playing on the EU fresh start server. Also I might butcher some english terminology, cause my Game is in german, I try my best to translate them. how and where do I get accesories? what does larcency proficiency do? I got it to blue rank which should reduce the labour cost by 5%, but it doesn't for my coin purses. Why is everyone disscusing whether to go plate or cloth? Plate got the high phy def and the hiram stat which decreases magic Dmg. Cloth has to decide whether they mitigate range or mele phy dmg. Now if you look into the fact that around 90% of players are either battlerage or archers, cloth seems to be even more of a bad choice. Weapon hidden passives got changed to influence the global cooldown. I assume this change has allready hit the west servers? What are the exact stats on that ? How much is it worth to go dagger compared to 2hander? Also does the offhand affect the attackspeed other than the dual wield buff? Im am a healer right now with a 2 handed Club and plate armor. Going for spirit, crit rate and crit dmg. Is that a bad? Should I go 1handed club with magic def shield instead? submitted by /u/Splynt47 [link] [comments]

Any new or returning Kadum East healers? Posted: 07 May 2019 09:31 PM PDT Hey guys fellow returning player here for about 2 weeks now got a good grasp on a lot returning information! Loving the game again and like the title says wondering where all the healers in Kadum server at! especially east faction! woot woot! I played dps on release and decided to roll tank this time around and sitting at about 5k gearscore after about 2 weeks of returning! But cant seem to find any healers especially lower gear scored ones that want to run content and learn the game with me and some of my friends!! ​ Drop a comment and maybe we can get some stuff done in game! Fastest method to level up some as new player who doesn't mind spending some $? Posted: 07 May 2019 09:13 PM PDT I love exploring MMO worlds, quests, etc. and want to do it with ArcheAge. Currently level 14 and having fun but wouldn't mind playing this on faceroll mode. I'm assuming (1) be Patron, (2) wait until Labor is capped, (3) pop a Vocation Tonic, (4) pop an Adventurer's XP Boost Potion, and (5) craft something over and over and over again. But what do I craft exactly? And I'm assuming I'll have to buy and then sell some Apex to get gold to buy materials for what I'm crafting too?
