I've googled the exception code and tried everything from: dx 9 -> 11 installing old DX files reinstalling everything (formatting my pc, fresh AA install) updating my bios trying old nvidia drivers turning off onboard VGA Nothing is fixing this issue. I've been selling everything but now heard that I should be salvaging, not selling. I'm sure there are other things I'm doing wrong but don't know. I only see outdated guides such as craft a ton of fishing hooks to level it lol I mainly wana level it to start crafting better lunagems but what I dont understand is the method.. i basically need to evenstone T1 Lunagems to get the required mat to upgrade to T2 and T3? I am a Dwarf and recently finished the basic quest line (I think). I am level 33 and kinda confused on what to do.

| Obligatory Returning Player Post. Posted: 06 May 2019 11:12 PM PDT I've been playing archeage for 3 days straight now. This is the longest i played archeage ever since i decided to quit back when the guild RAGE got forced disband by PANTSU on morpheus server. And so far i've been enjoying it. Seems like its been more alive than ever before. Im still not yet used to seeing most people having above 10kgs and full epic gear but its fine with me now. It doesnt feel like a race anymore. Its just pure unadulterated fun. And due to the homecoming hero return reward im granted the previledge to have a full hiram set when i reach level 55 which is kind of nice. Seems like archeage turned for the better now. I hope this still continues. I really loved this game so much back then. Its good to be back now. If any guild want to bring me into their roster im happy to join. I may not yet be maxed level but believe me im not no lifing the game yet. Im just exploring as i go for that nostalgia factor. If i find a guild worthy of committing ill do whatever it takes to reach end game optimized gear in less than 2 months. Tops. So anyway. This is my obligatory returning player post. Thank you all. | Posted: 07 May 2019 05:23 AM PDT Can someone explain how getting hiram gear will allow you to get anywhere close to competing with 10k? For PvP oriented players this does not seem great im told the games become more pve if anything is this true? Im not against working hard to get up to scratch but if im considering returning and quit at 4k gs in 2.9 before trion screwed the game, how is it possible to get anywhere near 'competitive level'? I've had plenty of freinds go back to try it out, the pve oriented ones love it. the pvp oriented ones hate it, can someone shed more light on this or explain the best way to do it as i hate pve and only want to pvp [link] [comments]  | ||
| Posted: 07 May 2019 05:40 AM PDT Hey, I'm sure this question has been asked many times but I'm level 52 and I can use the "Cloaked Hiram Guardian" loot that was in one of the returning player packages I think. Anyway I'm not really sure what gear I should be taking between plate and cloth? Also between a staff or a scepter and shield. I'm playing spiritualist so I'm thinking maybe cloth as auramancy makes me a bit tankier? I'm not really sure. [link] [comments]  | ||

With the removal of wisps, how can I make it cloaked to upgrade it? I know Hiram is better but I'd still like to upgrade it to see how far I can take it. Also, is cleric still a viable healer? | Server advice needed for returning player (EU) Posted: 06 May 2019 04:59 PM PDT Hi, I just came back to AA and I have been looking around on Jakar and Ezi Europe. From what I read Jakar is full of people that have been playing for years and have a high advantage over new/returning players. Since I am a returning player I had the luck that I can open some chests with hiram gear and some other goodies to start.. but even that doesn't take away my doubt. I read that these days people are doing traderuns on the other factions islands wich would mean more high gs enemy players on my island wich makes it even worse since encounters are more likely to happen. Ezi on the other hand has a little population when compared to Jakar, this has it's charm, there is allot of free land right now and if the server grows it can be a better investment in the long run... but only if it grows and it has been online for one year and I have no idea about the current player influx. Right now I am playing on both servers but I obviously can't keep doing that. Can anyone share their long time experience on returning to AA from both servers ? [link] [comments]  | ||

Posted: 06 May 2019 07:29 PM PDT Some dude who knows a dude that plays on Korean AA said they're changing plate pdef to scale with strength, as a direct nerf to mages abusing plate. Look man, I don't know if any of that is valid and maybe it's just spreading misinformation but I'm not about that life you know, so just take it with half a grain of salt and maybe someone here more knowledgeable about the Korean patches can pitch in. | Returning to outdated inventory Posted: 06 May 2019 04:50 PM PDT So i just reinstalled and am overwhelmed with how much has changed, and how much of my inventory is seemingly useless or outdated. Ive been converting a bunch of junk, a lot of which turned into more outdated vendor trash. Now looking at my gear, divine Obsidian, it all says it's basically just Hiram food? If im understanding correctly. So my next steps should be to farm for Hiram pieces, and then feed all my current gear to upgrade? Also, what is the new level cap? I'm at 55 but getting exp.
