    I and SO have been burned on AA a lot of times. How is the game looking so far?

    So.. first there was ArcheAge. It became filled with microtransactions and, supposedly whales; (note: 'Whale' in my definition is someone who spends hundreds daily or weekly. 'Whale' does not constitute spending $20 every now and then).
    The brief time we played, we left due to gradual disinterest.
    Then came ArcheAge Unchained. Publishers lied about that and added a cash shop, claiming 'unsustainability'. Then they apparently (from what I've heard, I've not paid too much attention to Unchained) switched to a DLC model.. and THEN suddenly became a subscription game.. apparently?

    I've lost track at this point. I've lost track of the many times I've been burned on this game. Myself and my SO are both immensely skeptical right now; me even moreso seeing as apparently both Unchained and the standard AA servers are still in existence? I dunno what's going on with that, and at this point, I'm worried to ask.

    Anyone got some actually thought out feedback to give on the state of the game at the moment? Any promises kept so far, anything different, etc?

    PS. I'm looking for actual answers. Please give me something actually thought out instead of something 'Gaem bad'.

    PSA: Always open NA Transfer Box first

    Jake's Blessing wont stack if you open Homecoming box first, therefore it wont let you to open NA Transfer Box.

    Newb Question: What are the types of gameplay should I expect from the game?

    I played a little bit last year, when the legacy server was practically dead. But enjoyed just soloing the main quest, doing some farming, built my ship, and bringing trade packs across regions; I thought these mechanics were interesting and good way to explore the map. I only played till I reached Auroria.

    This time with a more active server, and a restart; what types of gameplay are there? When and how does PvP actions happen? Group play (raid, dungeon)? RP activites? are there any?

    Couple questions about Mounts, pets and also Gildas

    Hello all.

    1- I only have 80 Gildas atm following main story im in sanddeep i was wondering if it will be possible to get 300 Gilda by the time housing is enabled? if yes, how?

    2- Are there "best" pets in the manastorm shop or you should i pick by looks?

    3-Are there better mounts than others or are they pretty much the same? My two favorites are the Moonlight Kitsu white version and the Stormwraith Kirin Red version with yellow horns, any inputs on these? thanks in advance

    Where do you get all 4 free gems from? I've done all tutorials and have 4 gem carvers but only got 2 of the lunagems. I can't see any that I've missed

    Downloading DirectX again when starting the launcher

    I have asked and asked on Discord, but I can't get anymore information about this. Does anybody know if this issue will ever be addressed? Or will people running Windows 7 just not be able to play without downloading a 100MB file every time they login?

    Why can't I buy Cactus and Thistle from the Marketplace?

    I'm doing the MSQ and it requires 5 Cactus and 5 Thistle. I saw the Marketplace have them for free but once I click purchase it shows an error message "failed to purchase" and "0/1 available per account" and now I am completely stuck!

    Fanatic or Bounty Hunter?

    I'm stuck between maining these two toons atm.

    Fanatic only level 22 haha, but I love how strong Lightning Arc is and how good the Fireball spam dps is just for clearing mobs, even if it's just early level it makes it that much safer and quicker.

    My Bounty Hunter is level 38 and I love playing it but it feels like my whole kit revolves around hitting Backdraft and I heard Collat got nerfed too.

    Idk, i'm a seasoned MMO player and I want a good PvP toon that can PvE as well and guides are hard to find for this game since most are from years ago or just don't exist at all like for bounty hunter.

    Anyways, ty for anyone that helps. I'm on Unchained btw.

    Glyph Transfer Items

    I'm confused, when I transferred my Glyph account through the process to Kakao, there were numerous items that were like a gift to start me out (mount, wings, etc.) Im.just wondering where those are? Are they on the AA account or AAU and how do I find them? Thanks!

    No longer possible to stay connected with 2 game instances?

    Was connected fine yesterday but today every time i try to stay logged in with 2 instances 2 different account after a couple minutes they disconnect "the gods have disconnected you" since i dont have all day to play it will be hard for me to login and claim the 30min item in 2 accounts :/. Anyone with the same issue?

    Returning player after leaving a few year ago

    I have no idea whats going on. Kakao has publishing rights now and heard there would be a relaunch/fresh servers with a Sub model.

    It appears that has begun, can someone confirm? Is there any land left? I've been searching for concrete understanding and can't differentiate if existing servers are back up as of 12/3 or if the new launch is actually already happened then?
