Or is what Kakao calling the "Legacy" version the version to play? I understand Unchained is sub based, and Legacy is the original with the cash shop. Which is the more popular version to play? I don't care about the sub, just thought that if maybe they are releasing this on $10 sub or even some cash shopt stuff. Just wondering which is going to be more played or populated. Posted: 22 Nov 2021 12:35 AM PST Was wondering what the META classes are looking like based off of Korea. currently, what I have heard is it is similar to Unchained launch but Swiftblade is nerfed to the ground. Classes I have heard are good are: Melee: Darkrunner with Longspear weapon Ranged: Ebonsong, Gunslinger based classes Healers: Confessor, Athame, Doombringer, Sorrowsong, Assassin Mages: Fanatic, Spellslinger Tanks: Skullknight Are there any I am missing and is the accurate? ones I am wondering about would be blighter (Battlerage, Shadowplay, Defense), Stone Arrow (Archery, Shadowplay, Defense) and Abolisher (Battlerage, Defense, Auramancy) [link] [comments] | ||

So I was searching for a good sandbox MMORPG with open-world PvP to play and turns out that after a immense research, ArcheAge seems to be the best one available right now (there's also Albion Online but I didn't liked it graphics). I'm well aware that the last publisher was trash and it's going to be having a Fresh Start with Kakao on December 2. Looking to the current state of the game, you guys would say it's dead? I download it and played the free PW2 version for a couple of hours and barely meet any players in my journey till lv 20. I'm considering On buy the Unchained version for the Fresh Start, but I won't do it if there's less than 1,000 players online everyday. Is this game worth my time? [link] [comments] | ||

HP would give survivability regardless of the dmg type but with Gunslinger being another ranged class, range dmg reduction would provide more coverage compared to the first iteration of AA Unchained [link] [comments] | ||
| Will AA Legacy Remain F2P with Apex? Posted: 22 Nov 2021 01:09 AM PST I haven't played AA Legacy since Unchained came out and I'd completely forgotten about it. But I've just remembered that in AA Legacy you could pay for your Subscription/Patron by buying Apex with in-game gold (you didn't need to spend real money). But even if you didn't have Patron you could still play for free. But with certain restrictions. I'm trying to remember what they were. I know you couldn't own land and I don't think you could regenerate labor when you were offline. Anyway, what I'd like to know is this, will this model continue when Kakao take over ArcheAge Legacy? If so, then I might consider playing AA Legacy again (I won't pay for a subscription, so I won't be playing Unchained). But at least this will give me an option to keep playing AA for free. One last question, I have an Unchained Account and an old Legacy Account. I've already created a new Kakao Account and transferred my Unchained Account data to it. Do I need to make another Kakao Account to transfer my old Legacy Account data to? Or can I use the new Kakao Account for both? [link] [comments] | ||

Since Archeage Unchained was my first interaction with this universe I didn't know much to begging with. So, having heard the news of what is coming to the game in December 2, I am here today to ask: Does anyone has any recommended video which I could watch in order to learn how to start playing the game, and not get lost in all the things I could do or should not do in the beginning? I just played 3 months back in December 2019 to February 2020. But I had a blast, so I wanted to give it another try. Also, I noticed that in Mirage Isle there are mounts being displayed, and some of those have wings, is flying normal now? I remember only Faction Heroes being able to fly, and I think it was for a small amount of time too. [link] [comments] | ||

Posted: 21 Nov 2021 07:54 AM PST It seems that AAU is going to a monthly sub instead of B2P, which is what truly separated it from AA. So now it seems that they are both very similar in how they are implemented. Either you sub to AA to get patron and the cash shop is P2W, or you sub to AAU to get patron and the cash shop is not P2W... is that really the only difference here now? I feel like I'm missing something. You're either paying with your money in AA to get cash shop items or you are paying with your time in AAU to get what was in the cash shop. Since time is money, and even minimum wage jobs will earn you a better $/hr rate based on the value of time in any video game, they basically boil down to the same thing. [link] [comments] | ||

Trion prevented this so we would buy every costume rather than focusing on the strongest / most p2w one and stick to that only. This said, does mean, we will all be forced to buy their costume releases if we want to grab the best power for sale untill the best 'tier' is sold. [link] [comments] | ||

I also plan to grind mobs for purses/crates while I do my ancestral levels and once I get some gear score solo clear dungeons. I feel like pit fighter or battlemage are decent at mob farming but I wanted to see if I was overlooking something. I can't find any updated translation for recent patch notes and haven't played in a while so I want to be sure I'm not locking myself into a class that's weaker than it used to be.
