I really loved the way archeage did their "class" system. 3 skill lines to pick from and skills would frequently have special effects when you chain certain ones together. Combat was a blast lol. I remember my favorite combo was the mud hand and bubble + fall damage. So satisfying. Visuals were pretty good even on low settings IMHO. Stopped playing a few months after release cuz of multiple situations. Randomly thought of the game again today, years after release, and although I'm sure the final answer is NO, do you think archeage is worth playing again at all after all this time? The open world pvp didn't bother me too much too, it made things a little exciting and interesting through the hard grind. Honestly I think rewatching Log Horizon is why I'm thinking of this game again lol.

Odds are I'll give a slightly reluctant hard pass since I'm seeing an overwhelmingly super negative general review of it being hyper monetized and being overwhelmingly grindy even by mmo standards. Essentially requiring multiple accounts to farm endgame content lmfaoNOPE. I think I just miss my secret thunderstruck farming location. I had it behind a waterfall. Location was SUPER not easy to get to (though there wasn't much space. I think I could fit almost 2 dozen trees? In there). Almost nobody ever went there. I didn't have to fight for land cuz literally less than 5 people new of it and I didn't have a lot of time to play anyway, still don't, so I was super casual and just did it for fun.

Cheers to the feeling of promise on initial launch where we all thought this was gonna be the game to take down WoW and it would become a good big game, hah. Good times...

I also don't want to start up a dead mmo just for a tiny bit of gameplay

    residency question

    Posted: 24 Jun 2020 03:35 AM PDT

quick question i just really need vocations badges.. sea server does not give vocation on cargo delivery...only resident quest and 2player family quest.... so i was thinking to become a resident to get the community supplies dailies quest.. if i put my 16x16 scarcrow or gazebo 24x24 farm and put it to lilyut hills for example..will i be considered a resident and able to do community supply daily quest? or i still need to build basic 16x16 cottage house? is farm scarecrow different from cottage house to become resident?
