Archeage Legacy or Archeage Unchained for PVE player Posted: 23 Jun 2020 05:43 PM PDT Hi guys, I played Archeage when it came out and it wasn't bad, I had a little fun although in the end I got tired because it seemed more like a job than a game because of the daily quests and the repetition and the little challenging PVE content. I played as Abolisher and in the arena I won 2 out of 3 combats, except with the wizards that were destroying me XD, I had a team score of 4600 points. I played in Tarshish. ​ Now I have thought about going back, but I find that there are 2 Archeage? One legacy and one Uncharted... I don't know the differences between one or the other. ​ Would it be worthwhile to return with my character in the Tarshish server? Is it worth to start in a new server? Is it worth playing on Archeage Legacy or Uncharted? Which server do you recommend? ​ ​ If the game ends up being about phony Hiram equipment and doing the daily grind only...I don't think I will play. ​ The PVP is more secondary to me, my goal in playing challenging and competitive PVE, does the game offer good content in this aspect? ​ ​ I look forward to your answers, thank you very much for your time. submitted by /u/kinkanat [link] [comments]

Authentication e-mails coming in 6 hours later Posted: 23 Jun 2020 06:03 AM PDT So I haven't been able to log into Archage since yesterday because Glyph wantss me to enter an authentication code, and their emails do not come in until 6 hours later. I tried all day yesterday and it seems to be an issue today. I have gmail and I have my email rules set up properly. I know its not just my account because I even made a new account using a different email provider and it took several hours as well for the verification email on it. Want top give the game another try - which server? Posted: 23 Jun 2020 06:59 AM PDT Hi All, I tried the game back upon release but due to circumstances I stopped playing relatively quickly. Now I'm considering trying it again but not sure which server to try. I'm weighing up the pros and cons of each. My options are: AAU NA Tyrenos - Pros: Highest Populated server - good if I play long term. Cons: Have to "catch up" to people's gear score if I eventually want to do meaningful content AAU NA Stena - Pros: New server, only 11 days old. Easy to catch up. Cons: Risk of the server being dead in a month, won't be able to do big scale content if I ever want to. Cons: Have to buy the expansion to get access? AA Legacy SEA - Pros: New server, only 12 days old. Easy to catch up. Pros: Much better latency for me (living in Australia), about 215ish down to about 100 to 150ish. Cons: Lack of English speaking players, harder for group content. Cons: risk of server being dead in a month. Cons: Already wasted money on AAU. Cons: Have to put with alleged P2W. ​ Some might say I'm over thinking it but I'm not able to play till the weekend anyway so I thought i'd ask this question prior. Don't ask me how I got in that situation... rowing a boat, against the stream - and failing - in Rookborn Basin... without pants. It's a weird situation. But as every other weird situation, you should do as they say... Just go with the flow. The thing is guys... I decided to play on server Stena. I still play on Wynn though! I got Jackssparrow there and I'm currently playing farmville on that server. But felt like I wanted to play with people again and not in a deserted world, so let's give it a try! For this new journey, I couldn't make it alone, so I needed to get my crew back, starting with Mrgibbs. Where the hell was that old fart, aaalso, where the fk was the rum??? The other rum. Mrgibbs, there you are! Mrgibbs joins the party. Oh, so they hijacked you and you ended up in a circus troupe? -Not circus dwarf jokes intended- And they're feeding you and you don't want to come back because they're treating you better than me? No way. Let's move, Mrgibbs. We've got work to do. We've got to: 1- Kill Jared Leto; 2- Build a ship; 3- Build the first house in Growlgate -aham- Pirate Island; 4- Build a tavern in Pirate Island; 5- Steal every rum in the fking world and bring to the tavern; 6- Never open the tavern and drink all the rum; 7- Repeat 5 and 6 religiously. ​ First, done. For the ship, it was a pain the sparrow gathering the lumber from a no-farm land server. So i had to search. Through the greenest valleys... ​ Far over the misty mountains cold... And after all that no -fucking way- I'm building it. I know you can do it Mrgibbs. You were made for this! He seems to be exhausted, let me give him some support... ​ FASTER, MR GIBBS, the rum can't wait! ​ And we made it! Number 2 completed. ​ We've agreeded that the next day we were heading to Growlgate! BUT It didn't happen the way I planned. My bro traded archeage fun for The Last of Hype Us 2 - blah - and I had to do it alone. To my surprise, Growlgate was intact! So let's start! ​ That pervy scurvy old man, I know exactly who's going next to Davy Jones Locker. ​ Phew! I did it! First house in Pirate Island, nailed! Of course the tavern project and the stolen rum gonna have to wait. In fact, I hardly think I will be able to do it, but who knows, fk it. Comming back to Nuia Continent I was so happy I've found an old friend from previous adventures playing on server Stena as well! Dracthas, the bard, was here! WTF, this guy must be following me, is he some kind of Jaskier or somth? Just kidding man, glad you're here! ​ He invited me to be part of his neighboorhood! I still had another house design, so why not? That's it, we must later build NUIA'S great music hall! -and please, life, let me have some more free time to play a lil bit more of AA- Not planning to post regularly, though. Can you drag a warship with Legendary Harpoon up to the trader at the trade outlet? Posted: 22 Jun 2020 06:55 PM PDT I am debating if I should build a warship or merchant to do some trade runs, I know warship is faster going North/South. But I know you can drag the merchant up to the trader with legendary harpoon. I was wondering if you can do it with a warship as well? If anyone have a screenshot for confirmation would be perfect.
