Garden Update Pt. 2 Patch Notes Translated Posted: 25 Dec 2019 12:28 PM PST Merry Christmas /r/Archeage, my Christmas present to you all is translating the patch that Korea will be getting early January. Enjoy! The link to the actual patch notes is here which contains the pictures and images that I'll be referencing here and there. Garden Pt. 2 New Raid Anthalon New raid boss Anthalon will appear in the Garden sub-area "Delphinad Mirage" The two pictures on the page show pictures of the boss. 1. Raid Equipment As mentioned in the previous patch notes, raid equipment are getting a new tier. Black Dragon weapons, Leviathan Plate armor, Charybdis Leather set will all be getting a new tier of awakening. The overall stat increase will not be large, but the equipment will gain additional attributes to further enhance the equipment. Additionally, a new cloth set will be able to be obtained by defeating Anthalon, and similarly to other raid equipment, this can be awakened by using "Thoughtful Awakening Scroll" The equipment series seems to be called "God of Destruction's Merciless Set". 2. Raid Appearance Time Changes The time world raid bosses will be appearing will be changing. In the following table, bosses that are marked with a X on a certain date/time are not guaranteed to appear. Additionally, the time that raid bosses will be available to fight will be reduced to 60 minutes. Anthalon will be up for 50 minutes, but can change depending on his current state. To see where it's being added, reference the picture on the site. For a text description, it'll be added to the top right corner of Rookborne that will connect the two regions. Miscellaneous Changes 1. Daily to Weekly Quests (MERRY CHRISTMAS) As the game has been updated, there has been a lot of content added to the game, which in turn creates more dailies that players have to do like homework. Everyone's time is limited, but because of all the dailies, the amount of time to do what the players want has become increasing limited. Therefore, in order to make that just a little bit easier, weekly quests will be added. (The following picture on the page shows Reedwind Weekly quest. It is kill 200 monsters for a choice between 50 T1 scrolls or 30 Mysterious Hiram Infusions). The Hiram dailies will be changed from being repeatable daily, to being repeatable weekly. The quests will reset on Monday. When changing from daily to weekly quests, the requirements for the quests were relaxed, but the overall rewards will be increased. More awakening scrolls will be available, and DECRYSTALLIZATION SCROLLS WILL BE ADDED TO THE REWARDS. These changes will be especially beneficial to new and returning players, who will be able to grow stronger at a much faster rate. However, with the change to weekly quests, there is the fact that daily raids will disappear. As these raids allow users who are not strong enough on their own to finish their quests, we don't not want daily raids to disappear entirely. As such, the quests in Eastern Hiram Mountains will stay as daily repeatable quests, with Sungold Fields/Reedwind/Exeloch/Diamond Shores/Western Hiram Mountains being the zones to transition to weekly quests. 2. Trade Packs New trade packs craftable with the materials available through the Garden and Territory Resource Coins will be added. We cannot tell you the specifics as it is intended to be a little mysterious, but the rewards from turning this pack in will be significant. Picture: "Trade pack that is pretending to be Burning Logs from Exeloch" (not too sure on that) Craftable from Heedmar Faction Base Trade in: Freedich Island 3. Ranking Not important for us, so I'll skip on that. 4. Pet Equipment Pet equipment available from stablehands (e.g. Desert equipment set) will be available to be enhanced to Divine grade. Honor dailies are 10x worse than hiram... Posted: 25 Dec 2019 03:33 PM PST So why isn't XL games doing anything to fix these? Even if you dont care about gear progression and are a casual its the single best money per time/labor possible when factoring in what honor is worth in gold when you sell lunagems. You cant afford to skip these, and to make matters worse you dont know when Aegis or whalesong is going to happen exactly and you become a slave to a never ending stream of "oh shit X is up sorry I guess we cant do fun thing Y until that's done" and then its 2am and half your guild is offline. Why can't we just get honor from *gasp* PvPing, why the fuck do i have to do 4 boring as hell PvE events 80% of ppl afk everyday to get a majority of my honor. Why do i get 1800 honor for alt tabbing and jacking off to porn for 15 minutes, but I get 15 PvP kills in a warzone and literally get less than half of that. submitted by /u/Yikers233 [link] [comments]

The amount of hard CC (stun, trip, impale etc) is stupidly high and should be drastically reduced Posted: 25 Dec 2019 04:09 AM PST Pretty much what the title says, the current state of PvP is that you spend about two thirds of fighting laying on the ground unable to do anything. If it isn't some random battlerage user doing their 122255th in-tree trip combo, it's mage tank going on an impale + silence spree with pulls in between or bunch of random stuns from other trees. We have one nearly useless skill (Defiance) with absurdly long cooldown, that only grants 1 second of immunity to any form of CC. Shrug It Off and Bondbreaker have been nerfed over the years so hard, that I barely see them used in PvP anymore. ​ However rather than nerfing skill, I would rather propose changing the way CC works instead: Stun, Trip and Impale are now treated as the same for the purpose of granting immunity The first time stun, trip or impale are applied, they last their entire duration. If a character has been stunned, tripped or impaled in the last 30 seconds of combat, the second time any of these CCs is applied, the duration is reduced by half. Example - player gets hit by a 2 second of impale first which last it's whole duration. Then they are hit by a 2 second trip effect which is reduced by 50% (to 1 second) because they have been already impaled in the last 30 seconds. If a character gets hit by one of these effects for a third time, that effect is fully resisted and the character is now granted a 20 second of immunity to stun, trip and impale. ​ I would also propose for soft CC effects (fear, freeze, sleep etc...) to also make their target immune to damage from AoE abilities, but I guess that would probably be a bit too much..... (AAU) 5 - Do you suggest going full cloth (4 kyrios + 3 hiram cloth) or mix cloth and plate (4 kyrios + 3 hiram plate) for skullnight/nightcloack full tank build? 6 - Whats the gold price 'per click' for upgrading Kyrios Celestial/Devine/Epic? 7 - Does Anthalon gear can come with Stamina as a main stat? Im making second set of armors for my second build and idea is to make pure tank build, no need for damage output, im just interested in crazy resistances and 35k + HP.
