    D:< All my cheese larders except one disappeared on Kaylin (NA). I had 10+ (5 were supposed to be ready to turn in when servers came up, but others weren't near ready). A bit upset about this. I spent a lot of vocation on the royal seeds needed.

    I tried re-logging, nothing appeared. :"( RIP

    Anyone else have this happen?

    Botting is a real issue. On Kaylin this area is full of bots at 5/5 reports for multiple days.

    The game crashes/closes out to desktop automatically when the servers in your region are down. Sometimes you'll get a message the the servers are busy, but most often the game will just close out without warning.

    If you're experiencing this problem during a server maintenance, just know that it's not an issue with your game, you DO NOT NEED to reinstall, or fix game files. THIS IS BECAUSE THE SERVERS ARE DOWN IN YOUR REGION.

    This happens all the time, and there's not nearly enough posts about this issue. Please upvote so that when people look up this issue they find this post informing them that it's not because of an audio glitch, or because of their version of Directx.

    Khrolan had said on stream that he didn't agree with giving everyone 300 coins at once. I agreed with his reasons: because their introduction would be spread out with the Archepass, they should be spread out as well. However, with their screw up with web compenstation, Belstrom dying, and all of the other problems it looks like giving all 300 up front would have been the best.

    Now, there is no telling when we will see the next set of diligence coins, not to mention those that didn't get the first compensation! This is holding up a lot of progress, from house upgrades (I'm not paying 150g + 50 tax certs for building management titles) to bag expansions!

    *sigh* This is what I get for agreeing with the "don't give them all at once" crowd.

    According to the discord while Belstrom is back up players didn't receive the missing gold from the auction house and larders expired during the downtime.

    How do I git gud at mage pvp

    I want to be good at pvp and be able to hold my own in 1v1s or even some 1vmultis but so far all of my experience with pvp go like "ah, I'm being attacked, I guess I'll start with freezing ear- oh I'm dead". The only time I've ever been able to kill someone was either oneshotting someone with arc lightning from maximum range while they were attacking somebody else, or memeing them to death with crashing waves + boneyard which let's be honest doesn't count for anything. It's even much worse in drill camp because there I don't have my insane damage to fall back on, arc lightning crits only do like 30-40% of a plate wearer's health, and then I just get destroyed. Recently I've been trying to do the big brain plays where you take swiftblade + sorcery to kite with teleports but that isn't really working out for me except for using that mobility to run away.

    I went with leather and staff for my hiram gear because I wanted balanced defense and the +2 meters on attack range but it seems to have been a questionable decision.

    Tough to practice because any time I go into an area like halcy to find people to fight I just get cut down by groups of reds with 2k+ more gearscore then me who only fight as a gank squad.

    Question about captains protection

    My buddy and I were on the protected boat from solis headlands to diamond shores. We both had our captains protection on and were seated on the boat. Near the end of the trip four or five reds hopped on the boat and were spamming whirlwind. We were laughing in discord because as far as I know I'm not supposed to be able to take damage from attacks while having captains protection.

    After using whirlwind on top of us repeatedly for a minute I started seeing my health tick away. They saw I took damage and hopped onto me and kept whirlwinding until I died. While I was taking damage I was looking at the 10 minutes left on my protection. So I know I was still protected. They managed to kill me and take my pack. I'm not the only one who took damage either. My buddy in discord didn't die but got dangerously low and he still had time on his protection to.

    • So is the captains protection just a shield buff with a predetermined amount of damage absorption?

    • am I supposed to take damage like this or is this some kind of glitch or poor code?

    I don't really care about the gold, it's a number but I can always make more. If This is a legit way to kill people then I also don't care that it happened. Just curious if this is the way it's meant to be, and if I could get some explanation on how it happened and how to be safe running my daily cargo packs.
