| Posted: 23 Apr 2019 04:12 PM PDT An FAQ has been on the agenda for a while for the mod team, and other than not quite having the time to do it as in depth as we would like, narrowing down the questions has been a tough one. So we're going to ask for your ideas on what should be included in the FAQ.
Suggestions should be short and to the point, we can't possibly answer every question someone might have, but some obvious examples of what we're looking for would be:
Keep questions general, as we're not going to have the space to include FAQ questions about the best Templar build or which grain is the best for royal seeds.
Once we get enough suggestions for the FAQ, we'll likely post them and get answers from the community, as well as getting Archeage content creators input on them as well, to try and get as diverse a range of answers as we can.

| To all those stuck on the launcher Posted: 24 Apr 2019 06:30 AM PDT When installing through steam, it somehow makes Glyph that the full game is installed and then doesn't trigger the download of the actual game which is why it won't launch. To fix this, go into C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\ArcheAge\Games\ArcheAge\Live and open up the history text file, delete whatever set of characters comes after the word "version" and set it to 0. Relaunch ArcheAge and a big download should begin. [link] [comments]  | ||
| This game could still be great Posted: 24 Apr 2019 04:28 PM PDT what will make it so? your opinion pls. i have mine: pve that is scaled to number of ppl and gs. random quality gear drops from mobs (relative to level of mob/zone). pve that is single payer and/or multi. more raids. good raid rewards. multiples of these new good rewarding raids per day. cut the labor cost of everything significantly. gut the cash shop of anything remotely p2w/p2p. make apex available via gold in game only - no credit card power. use the cash shop for simple to apply skins that cost no labor or other bs, mount and other interesting cosmetic items, and keep expansion scrolls and ah license with no penalty for no patron. make actual new zones and real good quests to go along with them. im bored now but could go on, i shan't. fix this game pls - its got potential but is dead if left as is - its just not fun. edit: as an example of something to fix, make it possible to remove selected lunagems as the player sees fit, free of charge and make them re-usable. the principle of this request should be applied throughout the game. remove labor cost of gemming also etc etc. [link] [comments]  | ||

| Posted: 24 Apr 2019 08:10 AM PDT I've been trying to find information as a new player on how I can get started transporting trade packs. I have completed the quest and done the first delivery. What packs can I initiate and deliver without needing residency requirements in a zone? Is their a list, i'm not looking to make any difficult runs necessarily . | Unable to submit support tickets Posted: 24 Apr 2019 10:35 AM PDT It keeps taking me to the login screen when i hit create a ticket, then after i log in it takes me to the main glyph site, and from there i hit support which takes me to a new tab where if i hit create a ticket, it takes me back to the login screen. | Posted: 24 Apr 2019 02:04 AM PDT Basically i returned to the game after an extremely long time (changes upon changes, server merges and a bunch of other nonsense) Hopefully someone here can educate me on the current situation regarding labor to silver structures. I previously invested heavily into fishing (boat, rod, boosts, aqua houses with turn in posts etc.) however the minimal info i've been able to gather through forums and the sort makes it seem like fishing did get improved in some aspects but also nerfed in others which i found to outweigh the pros. So now i am unable to decide on if its worth to even pursue that anymore or just re invest heavily into something like commerce (land, ships, car, freighters etc.) or maybe something completely different. I do have the possibility to afford a lot of the base structure parts due to hoarding apex before quitting and i would like to be guided in the right direction to be able to compete with the updated gs nowadays. If anyone is able to help me out you don't have to reveal the exact methods just the profession that's worth making an investment into and i will try my best to figure it out myself. The only real issue i have is not being able to run a bunch of alt accounts which limits the activities i am able to do so i hope my playtime will compensate for that. Posted: 23 Apr 2019 04:01 PM PDT Level 47 and I have the support pack with all the hiram on my character, but that doesn't do me much good when I have finished all the quests (outside of the main ones which I am adamant about doing in order) am I just stuck waiting on CR/GR and grinding auroria mobs? Based off of this https://www.reddit.com/r/archeage/comments/9zem44/psa_weapon_attack_speed_stat_now_matters/ longspear - 15% chance to deal more damage to plate greataxe - 20% chance to deal more damage to plate The Greataxe is better because the Hiram Longspear and Greataxe have the exact same attack speed. Is this correct? I just don't understand why people are saying use a longspear to kill cloth because it doesn't even have a passive to deal damage to cloth, its for plate. Can you get gilda for taking trade packs to enemy ports? I read that it was removed at one point years ago but not sure if it was returned?
