| Help for returning players? (Skillsets, armor, etc...) Posted: 11 Apr 2019 07:28 AM PDT I think the last time we played "seriously" was during Archeage 3.0 so you can imagine we are a bit lost. My friend is currently an Abolisher and I'm an Outrider. We don't really know much about the skillsets so we'd love to hear some recommendations. We both want to do damage, but he wants a tanky build and I like dps/assassin kind of build. Mostly we want to be able to defend ourselves from other players in hostile territories. Also we appreciate if you also help us with what weapons we should use and armor recommendations, we're currently using the Celestial Soulforged Gear they gave in 2016 I think? And I have no idea if it's good enough or we can try to go for a better set. And last thing, another friend "started" (he was already lvl 18 but has 0 idea about the game) to play so any recommendations for him? I'm not sure about his current class (profile only shows Occultism Novice). Maybe something with healing to compensate us a bit? But I know he'll want to do damage too and we won't play too seriously so don't mind too much about our horrible team composition lol [link] [comments]  |
| Posted: 10 Apr 2019 10:32 PM PDT Why... Why now? This is something you may ask. The answer is simply... No idea honestly. I watched a video, it looked good and shared details into the later parts of the game. Now... I'm looking here now, seeing a decent 18.7k members to this subreddit.... But only 7 current online.... Most game subreddit's that I visit have a fairly high online population, because they are typically well populated games. I know this is a good game. I've never really gotten into it but i'm going to really try this time.... Or at least I will if I can get confirmation that the "Online" population of the subreddit doesn't reflect the actual population of the game. I'd also like to ask where I should start! Beginner class? Good dps class? Balanced classes? Weaker classes? (*NOTE: I'm fairly used to burst dps's.) Should I grab patreon status sooner than later? Is it worth joining a bigger guild as a lower level, or wait until i'm higher? (*NOTE: I'm very motivated by having people around me, vs playing solo) I look forward to hearing from people, whether it be to insult me, hate me, criticize my spelling somewhere, or to be helpful in some way... I want to be able to keep up solo against groups of 2+, also I want to benificial to a group, I prefer playing tanks and scouts in other mmos, I would like a class that can take loads of damage and cc the enemy to save the squishys. What would be the best solo pvp class with loads of survability or able to kill people fast, and what would be the most benificial class for a group ? I want to be a heavy survability tank nobody can take down or a dps that can own ppl 1vs2+ [link] [comments]  |
