| If you play on Steam and can't get past the launcher Posted: 17 Apr 2019 01:25 PM PDT Navigate to your archeage folder, search for "History" and open the file. It should have one line of text. Delete it, and save the file. Re open the launcher, and it should patch roughly 16gb. Doing that did the trick for me, anyway. I think something in the steam installation is broken and only causes it to download 2gb of the game, instead of the full game. [link] [comments]  | ||

| New players should join Legacy Posted: 17 Apr 2019 02:55 PM PDT I don't think the move should be Fresh Start. Most likely you'll be told to go to Fresh Start because they want company. The reality is there will be a server merge, it will happen.. Play in the Legacy servers that are more populated, there will be much more opportunity for social encounters, and helpful people. If newer and returning players return in generally the same server there will be a much stronger build up to mold yourself into/back into the game. The more populated a server is the stronger the game will be as a whole. [link] [comments]  | ||

Enjoyed a lot the experience but from some reasons I had to stop playing it. Never came back because of reviews and because of the fear of getting lost. Do you guys think it's a good time to come back? I've read they did a good update about P2W. Heard a friend say I shouldn't waste gold on Ranged Crit Damage on my gems. Apparently the argument being that most people have tons of Resilience now which makes Ranged Crit Damage % negated. | PSA: STEAM linked Glyph launcher stuck at splash screen Posted: 17 Apr 2019 08:06 AM PDT I couldn't get the game to launch through steam, you may be experiencing the same thing, being stuck at the splash screen. The fix for me was to uninstall Archeage from steam and download the glyph launcher independently / installing archeage through that launcher. Hope this helps. [link] [comments]  | ||

Decided to give this game a try now that I've seen a few posts and videos stating it's a bit less P2W now (not sure if this is entirely true but still thought I would give it a try). With 120 classes, it's a bit overwhelming. I imagine that not all of them are viable, but, I was curious to see if there are good classes in each category and what they are: magic, strength, so on and so forth. Any advice would be great. I'm not looking for FoTM, but, I don't want to pick a completely unviable, dead class and waste time on it; if that makes sense. Thanks in advance everyone! Excited to get started. Can you please let me know if Archery is currently in the meta? Which class is good for Archery at the moment? I love the mobility, trying to get away from your enemy etc and love the PvP as well.
