| New solo player, contemplating on playing AA:U. Posted: 30 Aug 2021 11:30 AM PDT Hello! I'm in dire need of some kind of mmorpg to play, and I've tried all the big ones but none of them scratch my itch properly. And Archeage seems super interesting with it's class system and focus on PvP. It all sounds almost too good until I read some of the user reviews and opinions. Does this game really suck so badly? It certainly looks better than Bless... I mean im probably not going to be competing for the number 1 spot for anything really, i just wanna have an adventure, pvp and do some pve content too.. I used to play lots of BDO but that thing is in it's own league with RNG gated progression and heavy emphasis on grinding but I still enjoyed it a lot. If I would play Archeage what are some of the classes you would recommend for a solo player without a guild or a friend in the game? If you could recommend one for Melee, ranged and Magic that would be cool, I usually enjoy playing gimmicky DoT builds in mmo's but any viable solo class would do, it all seems a bit overwhelming when reading up online because the guides are directed to people with some sense of the game and I have none.
