    TYRENOS PVP

    (AA Classic) Client vanishes after intros and before server selection since last update

    Since the last update (Sept. 24, 2020) I am not any more able to log in to the NA cluster. When I start the client, the splash screen displays the poem, then the client window opens, shows some trailers (which I may skip with ESC or not), and then ... the client canvas stays black. No server selection screen appears. After 5..10 seconds, it simply closes without any further dialog. The Archeage.log reports a few errors, e.g.:

    `[13A58BA0][Error] CryAnimation: character-definition not found: game/objects/characters/elf/female/nude/el_f_kyprosa.cdf`

    In the forums I read that "Baan" posted this issue being resolved on a Discord. But it was not mentioned which Discord server. I tried to search the web for an official Archeage Discord server invitation, but only found one which looks small and sparsely used.

    Fresh AA unchained start questions

    Couple of questions here:

    -What is the difference if I buy AA unchained on steam versus buying it directly on AA website?

    -Which DLC bundle (silver, gold, archeum) do you recommend (the main difference is the credit they give you)?

    -Which East - NA server should I start my character on? I don't want to end up on an empty one...

    Hereafter Challenge as Ebonsong. How can succesfully skip the dog?

    I'm 13k Ebonsong and every time i try to do the lure dog trick i instantly die.

    I have no invincibility skill to pass the aggro to Kurt after he jumps me.

    What i tried:

    - the mule charge but that never worked since he dies too quick and doesn't lure the dog far away to let me to grab souls (spamming F on the souls didn't worked, he just insta kills the mule then turns to me)

    - basic bow the dog from a distance, command Kurt to attack, stealth and go to souls (or mount and leap fast to souls). This either has me killed instantly, or i survive but Kurt decides to take the fight very close to middle not allowing me to grab the souls. Even if i die in distance Kurt still brings the fight to the middle.

    Is the trick to let him jump me and somehow survive so the action can take place where he jumped me? I have no invincibility skill to survive that. Are there any items i can use that has invincibility? Any mounts? I only have Kirin, Pegassus and Croc.
