What a great game! I've never played Archeage before. Posted: 21 Jul 2020 06:23 PM PDT I just found out about the game, and I must say.. after fixing the "cant start the game becuase of steam API problem" & connection error, the game is really fun & smooth :) I know there are thousands of comments about pay2win etc, low playerbase - but the game itself is really nice, good graphics with maximum settings with over 200 FPS, smooth movement and so on! Its absolutely worth a try imo, and this comes from a guy that have played tons of MMO's, including GW2 & WoW. I went on the Jakar server, met a few players in the start-zone. My character is named Erkoliath, feel free to add me! If any new player have struggle with the "cannot start the game becuase of steam API problem" see below; Regarding the STEAM API issue Please try these steps: Please start steam as admin, start the game as admin, and check that you have chosen the RIGHT SERVER in top right corner, and check again Otherwise, you can right click on ArcheAge: Unchained in your Steam Library - Click Properties - Select the Tab Local Files - Browse Local Files - Start the GlyphClient.exe as administrator. submitted by /u/erkogbg [link] [comments]
