Anyone find themselves playing for no reason? Posted: 23 Apr 2020 09:59 AM PDT My friends all pretty much quit the game. We don't do anything like PVP, pirating, sunken ships, etc like we used to. We pretty much just sign in to pay taxes and burn labor, and grab easy Archepass missions. I don't think I've done anything meaningful in game for a month. I pretty much just log in as something to do in the background while I play hearthstone and wait my turn, ie mining. Pretty much just amassing gold and spending it on upgrades like better sails that I'm not even using. Anyone else on the same boat? What is there even to do anymore? Bought the game in 2014 but never got to play it, what should I do now? Posted: 23 Apr 2020 06:36 AM PDT So way back in December 2014 I bought Archeage with every intention of playing it. I only had it for a few days when a house fire destroyed my gaming pc. Long story short it took me a while, a long while to get back into pc gaming for years I'd done most of my gaming on a gifted console so by the time I got back to somehow I'd forgotten about archeage. I had a new job and less time to play didn't feel like I had the time to give to MMORPGS anymore. Fast forward to these dark times we live in and I started exploring mmos again and realized hey I actually bought this game. So I gather since then that Archeage has gone free to play and there's another version that's buy to play which is unchained? I checked my transaction history history and says apply compensation package so does that mean I get something in the free game for having bought it originally? However, I think most of unchained and legacy players would agree that these issues are not taken seriously enough. I guess I'm just curious if people think the idea is too bold. Would you personally be up for it? Would your guild be up for it?
