| Why we should give Gamigo a gamiGO Posted: 25 Aug 2019 12:00 PM PDT I am willing to bet that Trion outright lied to us about everything within the cash shop etc, about how they didn't have much control over the game. They consistently pushed the blame on XL games. My logic behind it is, that Trion were probably well aware of their own financial situation. People running businesses are not completely dumb, and as such knew either way they were going down, which as we all know is what happened (bankrupt). It would therefore make sense for them to pull in as much cash as they could before they went bust (im looking at you, whales), thus giving them incentive to lie. Afterall, even whales wouldnt want to invest money into a game which is being run by a dying publisher. This would give me reason to believe, that XL games was never the one pulling the strings. It was always Trion, and is why gamigo is able to promise us that the P2W elements will not be in the game. Give gamigo a chance. [link] [comments]  | ||

Posted: 25 Aug 2019 11:15 AM PDT I used to play archeage somewhere around 2016-2017 and I'm now finding myself wanting to play the game again as Unchained is being released. I used to main Darkrunner for PvE as that was the class I had the most fun with, but as far as I can tell they aren't as popular these days and people seem to go for the Blade Dancer class instead. So I'm wondering if Darkrunners still are viable in PvE or if I should look up some other melee class (as that's what i prefer the most) to main in Unchained. I have checked out Blade Dancer and something about the Songcraft tree just doesn't feel right to me personally. So my question is, which melee classes are viable for solo/group PvE content? | Posted: 25 Aug 2019 03:40 PM PDT Hello everyone, I am planning on playing again when Unchained drops (stopped a year after original launch) and was wondering what Mage classes are currently viable/meta. I really wanna combine Sorcery and Shadowplay as these fit my exact playstyle. But what about the third class? I was thinking about Auramancy, Songcraft or Melediction. How good would these 3 classes do in PvE and PvP (1v1, small scale mostly)? I will figure out builds by myself but any advice would be appreciated :) Thanks! [link] [comments]  | ||

| Is crafting (weapon/armor) worth it? Posted: 25 Aug 2019 01:56 PM PDT Wow, it's been awhile since I thought about actually trying ArcheAge again. I'm thankful that Unchained is sounding better and better everyday that we get closer to launch. Anyways, a couple questions regarding crafting. Is crafting still good, as in will the items crafted be in the meta? Like I use to craft bows (high tier; I forget the names - maybe volcanic bows?) and used to sell them for a lot. Again, are these weapons (really any weapons) good for crafting? How much has crafting changed? Honestly I don't remember what patch I left on, but let's just say, how much has crafting changed since 3.5? Is farming araynad books (sorry for spelling) still viable? I leveled up a character on the fresh start server, but since noone is playing there anymore, I switched back to the legacy servers. I still have a really old character there, it's lvl 30 was made ~1 Year after release and has a few cash shop items on it. After logging into this account the first time since eternity, I was spawned at the very beginning after the new intro tutorial.
