| Old player returning. Questions and state of the game. Posted: 25 May 2019 12:22 PM PDT Hey everyone! Now I know this is probably asked alot but I wanted to narrow a few things down myself I did a quick search and found a few threads but didn't see exactly what I wanted answered. First off a bit of back story; I played during the NA alpha and truly fell in love with the game. There were choices made (as I'm sure most of you are aware) that made me really question trion/xl games motives and philosophy for the game. As time went on and library got released on NA I had a falling out and lost interest. But I find myself longing for the experience again, no other game quite fills the hole that was left. So onto the questions: Archeage state of the game in 2019? What are your thoughts, wishes/concerns? How is the community? Is NA populated or should I try playing a foreign server? As a returning founder player how much/what has changed for the worse/better? Viable classes? I really enjoyed primeval back in the day is there something as similar with the new skill trees? Does my founder status actually mean anything? Is the premium time required to play on a competitive level? I wanted to also open this up to anyone who had questions of their own that I could not think of in the few minutes it took to write this. What's everyone's thoughts on Archeage? Should I return? Posted: 25 May 2019 10:20 AM PDT i come from black desert and this quest grind is eating me alive. i just adore grinding mobs for hours even if its slower. any class that is efficient with this? also if any of you know places to grind mobs at would be appreciated [link] [comments]  | ||
| Posted: 24 May 2019 07:16 PM PDT Hey everyone, I just installed the game yesterday and I seem to be experiencing some slowness and stuttering. The game starts out running fine and is quick to respond, but after the first couple of minutes, everything seems to stutter and bottleneck periodically. I've tried switching between DirectX 9 and 11 and messing with a few graphic settings, but I'm not sure what the main culprit could be. I made sure the game is using my GPU card. I'm on a gaming laptop with a GTX1060 and I currently have the graphics detail on high. Anyone else have similar issues and know of any good optimization suggestions to try? I appreciate the help! It seems to start off fine before bottlenecking after running around a bit. Could this be related to using directx 11 over 9? I'm on a gaming laptop with a gtx 1060.
