| Posted: 15 May 2019 04:07 PM PDT I've returned to the game since I last played around January 2018. Back then I regraded my Stealthfang Shield to Divine. With the crafting changes since then, I don't understand what to do next. The shield gives me the option to infuse abyssal enhancers into it, but what do I do after it's max grade (legendary)? Do I awaken, and if so what's the next shield? I also see in Mirage that I can craft my current shield into a (still divine) Superior Stealthfang Shield. It has better stats and also can be infused. So now I have 2 options; either infuse the original or craft then infuse. The game doesn't tell me what I would get from either of those paths. Can someone who understands the dungeon weapon re-work explain? [link] [comments]  | ||
| Any solution for random crashing? Posted: 15 May 2019 03:40 PM PDT I've been through trion's page about how to fix crashes and have tried everything there, but I still get the game closing with no error every few hours. I wouldn't even care that much, but I really want the jury cloak and it is impossible to get to the front of the queue like this. The download will do just fine all the way up until the end of update/patch where it then gives me error "1005 unable to apply updates". I've tried so many things and so far nothing has worked, if anyone has a solution please let me know. Also for anyone wondering I have a MacBook Pro Sierra from I believe 2016? I deleted my characters there but I still cannot make new ones in Jakar since I cannot press connect in the menu. Is my account stuck as a freshstart account? Is there a way to change this? I mostly like the class with very cool animations with the exception of fire spells. I also want to do lots of dps and want to level up fast. I don't mind melee or ranged. But I do prefer melee. | Attack Speed vs Ping on Archers Posted: 15 May 2019 08:41 AM PDT While I was helping a guildie in West Hiram Mountain the other day, I noticed that her Endless Arrows were firing faster than mine. When I asked her what her attack speed was, it was 60-80 lower than my own! I was rather surprised by this as I know that latency does have an impact on archers but my ping to the Archeage servers is fairly steady between 52-54ms, not great but this is fast enough that I would typically not have any issues in other online games. I started doing some research but have gotten a lot of mixed reports on the effectiveness of attack speed, specifically regarding the firing rate of the Endless Arrows skill. I'm curious to hear from other archers, what is your typical latency, attack speed, and Endless Arrow rate of fire? I had previously intended to use attack speed gems in my instrument and underwear but, now I'm questioning if it would be better to go with flat ranged attack damage gems in these slots instead? Edit: Thank you so much for the responses, I think I have a much better understanding now. Based on the video shared by /u/AceVD, attack speed definitely does impact the rate of fire for Endless Arrow. Also, thanks to comments from /u/Boolest which got me thinking about the relationship of latency to CD. My final conclusion is that your EA rate of fire equals your Ping + CD, with the CD getting reduced based on your AS. In my case, I have a max theoretical rate of fire of just under 20 shots/sec (currently sitting at 3-4 shots/sec). There may be additional factors to consider, such as server load, but those would be more difficult to predict. [link] [comments]  | ||

Like the title says I am curious to what stats I should have on my harem gear. I heard with recent changes agi is everything. I heard to put on agi, max health, resilience, and sta. | Returning player on Freshstart Posted: 14 May 2019 11:51 PM PDT Hey guys after not playing for 5 years I and 4 of my friend have returned to archeage. We started to play on the EZI freshstart server (Eu) I am not very far yet, but by checking out the auction house honestly it looks like a dead server? Or is the auction house just not used(looking at chat there are always messages there.) I kinda am unsure if I should stay on ezi or if I should return to my lvl51 main on jakkar. P.s are there any guild for helping new and old players get back into it and are very friendly and help with farming and getting stuff in the beginning? [link] [comments]  | ||
