    New player questions

    Posted: 29 May 2019 10:20 AM PDT

Hello, I'm a new lvl 55 and I have some questions. I did prior research into Hiram gear and have basic knowledge but there's still some questions that I have

    1. I'm told it's better to focus on leveling my weapon first for faster farming. I'm using dual wield at the moment, should I upgrade both weapons equally or focus on main hand?

    2. How do I get "+" on Hiram gear?

    3. I was also told to do dungeons daily to get abyssal gear and upgrade 1 abyssal gear for my set as they're typically better than Hiram. However when I inspect other players, everyones using full hiram with no abyssals. Should I be doing this?

    4. How do I get better accessories? I'm still using the ones they give you from the daily boxes

    5. How easy is it to get bonus rolls to roll a new stat on Hiram gear? Most of my armours have stats I don't need and I'm not sure if I should upgrade them to re-roll the stats or just farm for new armour

    Thanks in advance!

    Posted: 29 May 2019 03:28 PM PDT

    Hello :)

Back when Eanna (EU) was a server I had my alt account there with a Level 48 character.

I just logged in back now and I sadly do not have the 2 free packs for comming back. Does anyone know why?

    Thanks for any help!

Will this game offer alot if I simply enjoy questing for gear/fun?

    Posted: 29 May 2019 02:30 PM PDT

I've never touched this game before after hearing all the p2w problems.

I'm looking to give it a shot and I simply want to login in for 1-3 hours do some quests, get some gear listening to music and that's it. Maybe dungeons if this game has it.

I have 0 interest in housing/side job stuff.

Is this a game to invest in?

    New player, PvP question

    Posted: 29 May 2019 10:19 AM PDT

Hey, so I've never played this game before but I sure have heard a lot about it.. From being completely shit, p2w to being the best game ever.. So from recent finding on some youtube videos it seems like the p2w aspect has been nullified or reduced to an acceptable level, is that true?

I do not wanna dive into a game and have a massive disadvantage without swiping my card too much

One thing that drew me towards the game was simply the 1v1 Arena that I've heard about.. Now I don't even know if this is true but is there a 1v1 Arena system that you can queue into with a ladder system?

Also, what other sorts of PvP scenarios exists within the game currently, open world, medium-scale, large-scale?

Edit: And last question, how long would it take on average to even get to a point within the game where you can PvP? And how much does PvE gear matter in PvP?

    Can this game really recover?

    Posted: 29 May 2019 02:13 AM PDT

So I'm a returning player and I started playing in alpha till 2015. But having returned hearing the good news about much less pay to win I started playing again but there are some real issues returning players have to face.

First let's talk about the community. Very little info about the game gets posted anymore to the point that all builds are outdated and information about most things are so outdated it's wrong. Also trying to get in a group you get kicked and blocked because they think you are a alt or just become toxic towards you and in all honesty I can see why as entering red dragon and having so many AFK alts in there makes it unbeatable.

Let's talk now about gearing, yes the pay to win is a a lot less of a gap now but let's be honest it's still there and as a returning player in a heavily pvp based game to just get one shot off the face of the plant from someone with 12-15k gear score is disheartening and bridging that gap feels daunting.

Having low gear and trying to farm honor to get gems to make your gear better is rough.. I feel like there should be a different way to get gems for armour then honor but maybe there is but like I said the info online for this game is so outdated it's like this game just stopped in 2015-16

The market is a shambles. The EU servers run like garbage and it feels like the brief surge in player base is just that, once people see the flaws and the lack of online support behind the game it will just die down again. I say this because as a returning player I'm very unsure I want to put the time in to what seems like a dead or dying game with the toxicity aimed at low gear score players.

What is everyone else's thoughts. Returning and long time players
